Karach blades: how to 3.5 them?
I'm familiar with the concept of the Githzerai karach blades, and like it, but I'm not sure how exactly they worked in 2.0. What did they give? A bonus spell slot and stat bonus?
How would one best model them in 3.5? As a single magic item? As a series of feats?

As part of a prestige class? Hmm, I guess that's one way to do it. I suppose I could build a monk/mage or a monk/psion prestige class.
