    Default Looking for a spell...

The spell that I'm looking for would be something like Divine Power, but in Sorceror/Wizard spell list. Something that improves BAB up to character or caster level.

Does it even exist? I've checked out all the usual suspects. PHB, PHB2, Spell Compendium, Complete Mage.

Yea, Tensor's works, but unfortuanately, it also makes it so you can't cast spells, which is lame-o. There is nothing like Divine Powah on the wiz/sorc spell list, although (Greater) Heroism gives a sizable bonus to hit and damage, comperable to DP in most cases.

If you really really REALLY want Divine Power as an arcane caster, you can take the Arcane Disciple feat (Complete Divine) for either the War or Competition (SpC) domains. Need to keep your Wisdom up though, and its still only 1/day unless you can get some Pearls of Power 4s.

You could also go through rainbow servent and get the cleric spell list added to your list.

Oh yeah. Tenser's... well, the problem is that it blocks all your spellcasting ability. One would assume they mean for *all* spellcasting classes that you have. Then again, it says "just as if the spells were no longer on your class list." So that seems like a bit of a gray area. Perhaps an ultimage magus could cast it as a wizard and still have his sorceror spells available. :S

As for Limited Wish, haha. XP cost... not a long-term solution.

    The XP cost is minimal.

If you want to be a gish, just go duskblade. Or get a few dozen wands of true strike, metamagic spell trigger, quicken spell.

Use Wraith Strike. Touch ACs are generally many points lower than normal ACs, so you can swing a lot harder with Power Attack.

Use a Blurstriking or Impaling weapon. They let you attack flatfooted or touch AC a limited amount.

Use buffs like (Greater) Heroism for sizeable bonuses. Likewise use Heroic to grant yourself a feat like Weapon Finesse if your Dex is higher than your Str, or Weapon Focus for an additional +1 to hit.

Use Arcane Strike for a sizeable attack bonus and some bonus damage on top of it.
