HALO, an organisation of holiness, light, fun, and roleplay!
Joining is simple, you keep your soul, and your blood... And someone else keeps their blood as well (well, usually).
All you have to do is...

3. Ask to join
4. They might ask questions... So answer them!
5. You're pretty much in.

HALO is located Under the Sea! However that doesn't mean you can't visit...

1. There are Shuttlepods providing arrivals and departures on a regular schedule.
2. There are no anti-teleport wards!
3. If you can't teleport yourself, there are Ring Transporters, which link (among other places) the Mall of Acronymia from Inside.

If Charity is still around, she might run into a young, silver haired boy about fifteen. He's rather scrawny, and has blue fox eyes...

Charity looks like this, though without any coloured sprinkles at the moment:

Yeah, my name's Cruikshank. W-who are you ma'am? Who are all these people, ma'am?

"My name is Charity. We're all from GLoG... there was an army coming." She looks at the portal she just came through, but has no way of knowing if it's still active or not. "I'm not sure when it's going to be safe for us to return."

Oh dear. I don't think it's occurred to her that GLoG could have been destroyed.

[Quinsar]

Oh... Well, we'll be glad to have ya, are you
hungry?
He says, hopefully leading her to the kitchen, on the way they'll pas the infirmary, which houses all the injured, and on one bed, there are two puppies. One is a dog puppy, and sleeping. Nothing seems wrong with her. The other is a grey wolf puppy, who has a very damaged looking paw. He watches the others warily, looking scared for his and the other puppy's safety.

For a PC, Charity is pretty unscary. Since they're dogs, they'll probably smell that she's pretty scared herself. She's a normal human with just a small whiff of magic ability about her. "Y-yeah, I guess so."

He says, reaching the kitchen.

"A sandwich? Whatever's easiest." Charity says.

Cruik nods and makes her a big sandwich. Then deadtimes, seeya.

Charity deadtimes as well, nomming her sandwich.

Layla is holding Collin in the infirmary.

Marle has made her phone calls and is pacing in the library.

BR finds Marle in the library!
And aims a reassuring hug in her direction.




Quinn, still holding Jamie and sitting on a hospital bed, has a look of concentration on her face.

Collin smiles at Layla a bit weakly. I'm OK really.

Elsewhere Val and Astrid have both came through the portal with the other GLoG people and are unsure what to do now. Astrid stays near Quinn watching over her worriedly.

"Marle told me what happened. What were you doing, Collin? And why didn't you call me?" layla strokes Collin's curly blonde hair.

Marle hugs BR tightly, eyes brimming with tears. "So it's true, then? GLoG is gone?"

[McBish]

I was hoping to find out about Jack. And I didn't want you to worry about it. He says biting his lip hoping she isn't too mad at him.

[The Bushranger]

"According to what the drones say, yes. It's been overrun and destroyed. That's where all these people came from, too."



Astrid will find Quinn suddenly looking up, and trying to hand Jamie to her.
"Distractions. Playing at war to hide the man behind the curtain. Have to go."



...gah. These two were never meant to be in the same place causing colour confusion. >>

Layla just shushes the boy, holding him close and rocking slightly. "I couldn't ever be mad at you, Col. I care too much. And thank you, for trying to help. I know Magtok made them, Jack bought them. But I don't know where they were kept or who corrupted them."

Marle whimpers quietly, holding BR tightly for comfort. "John, I wanna fight back, DO something. I...what you said before, about making me...like you...can you do it?" She swallows, clearly terrified about being a "ghost" again.

[The Bushranger]

"I could." BR looks down at her, taking a deep breath, and gently stroking her cheek. "But, it wouldn't give you my powers, or anything like that. I don't have the ability to do that - only to extend your life."

He pauses, looking thoughtful. "I might have something that could help, though...if you really want to go out there. I don't want to lose you."

[McBish]

Collin nods and looks thoughtful for a bit, trying to figure out what he wants to say in a way that doesn't sound horrible. What if, instead of being corrupted, they just weren't uncorrupted.

Quinn are you sure you should go now? She says taking the baby carefully.

[The Bushranger]

"Everybody sees but nobody sees and somebody has to put the borrowed eyes out."
Quinn pauses, then seems, for a moment, to almost be herself again.
"If I don't come back, tell Toby I love him."
...then she grabs her equipment from the pile of stuff and starts putting it on.
"Power broken yet still power, power enough, only one way to know. Burning out and burning down."

...meanwhile, her mind is locating Irene.

Quinn wait, I don't think you are in any shape to go out there right now. You need to rest now. She looks extremely worried and unsure of what to do.

[The Bushranger]

"Nobody goes, everybody dies, this is the way the world ends," is Quinn's response to Astrid as she straps on her sword.

Jamie looks up at Astrid with a curious look like only a baby can.

And that's when Tobias tries to poke Quinn with a tranq needle.

Tobias just might be surprised at how quickly Quinn spins around and tries to grab the tranq needle away from him!

"Sneaky, sneaky, but the mind is more powerful than the pen..."

She trails off, staring.

"...Toby?"
