    Sorry this has been brought up before, I haven't been on the forums in quite awhile. In 692, Roy uses the bag of tricks to help search for the gate. But didn't it run out of charges from looking for a flying creature just before he died? I suppose it could have been recharged since then, but given his general disdain for it as an item it seems unlikely he would have bothered.

    Also, I just noticed that Elan has cactus needles sticking out of him in the panel when he's asleep! I didnt' catch that the first time through. :)

    Lol, that would explain it then. :) I've only ever had a bag of tricks in Nethack.
