    Default [3.5] Elves as Fey (Balancing LAs)

    So I've been pondering a setting where Elves make more sense as Fey than as Humanoids and I was wondering how much more powerful this would make them. What about subraces (especially Drow)? Does anyone know of any homebrews (or better still, official content) of this nature? Thanks.

    By simply changing their type they'd become immune to stuff like hold person and the like. They'd be kinda like a feytouched lite, but with weapon proficiencies.

    Thought about re-designing elves as 20-level monster-class - you know, back to the 1st edition and such. It that variant theyre definitly fey

    My understanding is that the whole point of the Duskblade was to resurrect basic D&D elves.
