101 uses for the d12

Poor d12. So maligned, so misunderstood.

Of the six common dice, the d12 is the one that definitely seems to get the least use. So, help me out - what are some ways to actually use the d12 in a gaming session?

1. Greataxe. Duh.
2. The Barbarian and Knight hit die. I'd play one of these classes just for the chance to roll a d12 (though even that couldn't convince me to play Dragon Disciple ).
3. Rainbow Blast (SpC) will let you roll FIVE of these babies. Very satisfying.

5. Calculating your Half-Orc's Height (4´10” +2d12)

6. Control Weather spell duration

7. Undead hit points

Convince DM to let you use Great Falchion from Sandstorm.
Take Vital Strike line of feats
Roll them d12

This is correct. In addition, seeing that class and the OAdv version, I wonder HOW the designer suggested the CW one.

The former two are not uber, but a downgrade is a downgrade.
