Pathfinder Zen Archer
I was wondering if anyone thought that the Zen Archer from the APG was over powered?

Re: Pathfinder Zen Archer
No, not really. It doesn't need dex to attack, but is still sensitive in melee, so the stat allocation is a toss-up. The only thing it has over other noncaster archer builds is the higher number of attacks without going into crossbow shenanigans and the high speed.

Re: Pathfinder Zen Archer
so with fury of blows becoming fury of "bows" and being able to use one ki point so that your arrows do your Unarmed stirke damage for your monk level for the round is over powered? At lvl 20 that works out to be 7 attacks with your bow doing 2d10 damage each.
I think the pathfinder monk just became the best archer in the game with that ACF.

Re: Pathfinder Zen Archer
This sounds like it needs some investigating, I may have my next character.

Re: Pathfinder Zen Archer
It is a nice subistution of class ablities. Being able to fire while in melee is always nice with out taking any attacks of oppurnity. And being able to take attacks of oppurnity with your bow at any one that is with in your unarmed threatened range.
