[3.5] Stats for a Pig?
Has a Pig ever been statted out in 3.5? I can't find any trace of one...

Re: [3.5] Stats for a Pig?
There's the boar, for your really big pig needs, and of course the dire version for your really really big pig needs.
No Deer and elk though. (But Frostburn introduced stats for a caribou, which is close enough.)Last edited by gbprime; 2010-11-22 at 02:45 PM.

Re: [3.5] Stats for a Pig?
I was kind of hoping for a more farmyard pig...wild boar is a little bigger and more vicious than I was going for.

Re: [3.5] Stats for a Pig?
I recall seeing a thread exactly like this about a week or two ago, but Search gives me nothing.
The point was, though, that "Farmyard pigs" are nearly identical to the D&D "Boar", but with their teeth clipped. (Or something similar).
And that geneticaly, the "Boar" is only a few generations away from the "Farmyard pig", and that the differences are largely man/environment-made.
(I apologize if these statements are false, I'm going off of memory)
In fact, a male pig is defined as a "Boar".
As for official sources, I don't believe WotC has made a "Pig". But you could easily just take away the gore, and perhaps the Ferocity (Although pigs can still get nasty).Last edited by Scoot; 2010-11-22 at 02:52 PM.

Re: [3.5] Stats for a Pig?
drop it to 1hd, remove ferocity, replace it's GORE attack with a slam attack that deals less damage, and drop it's CR to 1/2.
Maybe shave some of it's STR and CON too.
Easy peasy.

Don't forget, pigs get a special pig feat called "Made of Delicious."

If that happens, you just make the farmer a Druid. It's fun.
