No. That was something mentioned as a problem the last time this happened (Creation of RB #115). We don't discuss who gets the new thread, because it tends to stop other conversations and is nigh-on spam.

Except it wasn't fun, there's a reason things were set out this way. And it's not "when it hits page 50". You have posts 1470-1500 to decide who gets it. And someone has to claim it in the old thread, make the new one, link it in the old thread, and get the old thread closed.

This, basically. Though, note, it can be 'when it hits page 50'. But someone calls dibs on page 50, then conversation continues in the old thread until the new one exists.

Looking at the chart I'm on the line between geek and nerd. I'm socially inept, people iust don't realise it.

It's gone further for me. At the after-show party for Pinafore, I was talking to Josephine, mentioned at some point that I was socially inept, and she absolutely refused to let it stand.

Did you iust copy straight from looking at the post? Because that would get you the text, but not the formatting (e.g. links). You have to actually quote the post to get all the code.

I also think that anyone who has made a R&B shouldn't be allowed to make a new one.

But you know, erudition, good conversation, wit, charm and whimsy; even in a 'sane' environment I'd consider you socially ept.

...reminds me. Once, I left a classroom for about 10 minutes, and when I came back, everyone was like "Hey, your phone was ringing in your bag." Except my phone had been in my pocket the entire time, and there was nothing in my bag capable of making sound. >.>

I was wondering about that diagram and I've concluded that I'm kind of debatable on all three. Intelligence - I have it in exams, but I'm probably patently useless in the actual world, short of occasional moments of clarity. Obsession? I'm a bit obsessive with my music at the moment. I go through phases of obsession - quite mild obsession, though. I prefer to have a range of interests, which is why I still like reading, videogames (to an extent), stuff like that. And social ineptitude? Aside from being really bad at understanding what people are saying and coming out with non-sequiturs every once in a while (they make sense to me ), not so much. Huh. Kind of a dweeb then? An indecisive dweeb?
