Important Note for Villains

Conflict is great! It's the heart of any story, and there isn't much to roleplay without it. However, as a player to player courtesy, please check in with the players who are active at any given time before launching an attack. Not everyone wants to roleplay combat scenes, and sometimes there are other things going on that players don't want to interrupt for a random fight. Either a PM/IM to players, a short post in thread to say (Mind if I introduce a villain here?) or a longer post in the OOC thread if it's a larger plot is appreciated.

We have no banner. You, you, you, and you in the back that never gets to post because s/he is usually ignored...FIND AN AVATARIST AND SEND HIM/HER THIS WAY. Heck, even if someone here is semi-good with photoshop so he can combine our avatars into a cheesy simple banner... That'll be fine too.

Not all of them. The majority are just workers, engineers, or passengers on their own Airships, or Spaceships. This place is a good stop to conduct maintenance safely, and relax for a while. However, some arcane elves from my homeworld do reside here, acting chiefly, as extra hands, and peacekeepers.

Vallasito walks down a defined path towards a small group of buildings, and the Starport's Command Tower. A new group of people joins into the mix of humans and elves. These unknown individuals stand at over 2 meters and have a rather abnormal body shape. The beings are also adorn with shimmering armor of different colors, likely to define their rank.
The representative your about to meet comes from far off world, lightyears away from this world. They refer to themselves as Sangheili, and are a highly militaristic society, with strong Spiritual Beliefs.

"Is there any particular reason they're here at this moment that I should know of before meeting him or her?" Saul asks, wondering how he and Sangheili could possibly relate at all.

A letter soon arrives here, carried on a magical gust of wind. The outside is addressed to BR, Toby, Matt, Angela, and in a slightly hesitant scrawl, another name: Marle.

Inside, it reads:

We need to talk. Things need to be said, and this matter put to rest. I know you don't have any reason to come, or to trust me, but please come to the Taverna Generica.

I'm not here to fight anymore. I just need to put this behind me.

Valalsito attempts to explain the reasons concisely and to not make it appear their here for any conflict related reason.
Well, the fleet that is here right now, are primarily merchant carriers. We receive some of our raw resources from the Sangheili. The Aerial Base also acts as a rest stop, for long voyages across the stars to reach the Sangheili colony worlds. The majority of the Sangheili here are unarmed, or are not skilled enough to take down even an unaware opponent that matches their skill.

However, there are some armed Elites that are apart of the Sangheilos Army, but they number at less than a 150 here, and only 3 have clearance to go to the main HALO facility. There are also some armed cruisers, but they are usually just escorts for merchant ships. That said there is a small fleet, consisting of 3 Cruisers, a Corvette, and 2 Carriers that are in high orbit right now, as well as that,
Vallasito points to the Sangheili Supercruiser, the Flagship.
That is their flagship, the Shattered Twilight. This small fleet is here because of some recent suspicious activity in our local cluster. They assured me that if anything happened, they would try to bring the fight out into high orbit.

Also, you should worry about not being able to communicate with them, most of these guys have voice translators, and the representative can speak fluent English.
Vallasito walks up to a door where two Sangheilos Soldier were guarding. They immediately stop to hail both him, and Saul.

How convenient that the aliens speak English and name their ships after our cars.

"Very well." Saul says, having little to actually add to the conversation. But then I suppose the people getting the tour never do.

Saul gives the guards a polite bow back and then continues to follow Vallasito.

Vallasito acknowledges the two guards before opening the doors to the Representative building. The two walk up a small flight of stairs before a large room, with about a dozen Sangheili busily at work at holographic displays, speaking to incoming and outgoing Sangheili ships in there own very alien language.

And standing in the center of the room over what is likely a desk stands a Sangheili wearing Crimson Red armor overseeing all the work going on in the room. That is until he notices Vallasito and Saul and moving his splayed jaw in what can only be perceived as a grin.
Vallasito, my friend. Its good to see you. What brings you to my neck of the woods, eh so to speak anyway?
Vallasito replies nodding at Saul.
There was someone who came to HALO, that seemed interested in meeting you.
The alien turns his head towards Saul, and nods walking up to him.
I see then Vallasito, then I guess I should introduce myself.
He extends his hand, resembling something of an amphibians appendage.
My name is Val-rul Vernomee. I am the Fleetmaster of the Jaighgee Fleet, or the "Shatter Twilight" Fleet if you prefer the translation.

I am honored by your compliment, but my fleet is no more than small segment, of the Sangheilos Home Fleet. I can assure you Saul, that the purpose of our fleets presence here is only as a standard defense protocol.

Like I said, Val-rul, and his people have been supplying HALO, and the rest of NEXUS with the materials goods, to build machines, and tools that you may see around HALO, or anywhere else.

It is probably best that Tobias does not learn what sorts of liberties Vallasito has taken without so much as sending the commander of HALO a simple memo. He's an old man, you see, and his heart just isn't want it used to be.


Meanwhile, Matt finds the letter and reads it. He ponders the issue for awhile, then slides the letter under BR's door. He should at least meet with Cierra himself before Angela gets to test out her Assassin Aspect. He takes his bastard sword, but leaves his shield and armor behind, and then heads out of the base.

((Yeah, it is possible that you did all of this three or four months ago, when I wasn't reading every post in this thread, but this is the first I've heard of the scale. I did hear, secondhand, that you were doing something with the airbase, but I was unaware that there were hundreds of people up there. I was also unaware that they were supplying HALO with goods. I was also also unaware that the other organizations had embassies and met for talks on the airbase, but, then again, I strongly suspect that all the other organizations are equally unaware of this fact. I'm not mad, but I think you should have been more open about doing this (or trying to do it) IC and onscreen.))
