Important Note for Villains

Conflict is great! It's the heart of any story, and there isn't much to roleplay without it. However, as a player to player courtesy, please check in with the players who are active at any given time before launching an attack. Not everyone wants to roleplay combat scenes, and sometimes there are other things going on that players don't want to interrupt for a random fight. Either a PM/IM to players, a short post in thread to say (Mind if I introduce a villain here?) or a longer post in the OOC thread if it's a larger plot is appreciated.

We have no banner. You, you, you, and you in the back that never gets to post because s/he is usually ignored...FIND AN AVATARIST AND SEND HIM/HER THIS WAY. Heck, even if someone here is semi-good with photoshop so he can combine our avatars into a cheesy simple banner... That'll be fine too.

Erin is in the Infirmary, unconsious in The Chair.


Dani is by an observation window, curled up asleep.


Patty is by another observation window, staring out into the sea with a tear-stained face, and baby Brian looking at his mother with worry.

Arlem is walking about the base for a short while yet.

[Reinholdt]

Butler B. Butler is also wandering the base, drinking his only can of Nuka-Cola.

I'm not sure he'll be able to handle it if he can't get more.

Well, Arlem might wander across Dani, who's waking up and stretching.


Or Patty, but Patty might depress even Arlem at the moment.

Assuming one Butler B. Butler doesn't get found by Arlem first, of course.

I'm not sure Arlem could handle Butler without going mad. Well, further mad.

So let's give it a try. He appears around a corner and waves at Butler.
"Hi! Shouldn't you be at GLoG?"

[Reinholdt]

"No sir. I was told to stay here sir. Nice to meet you though sir." Butler waves back and smiles before giving a polite bow.

"I'm Butler B. Butler sir."

[Recaiden]

"Okaay. I'm Arlem d'Arlion. Pleased to meet you."

((Have to deadtime, sorry. Thought I'd be on longer. Good night))

It's alright.

"Do you live here sir? Or just visiting sir?"

[Mee]

Aaaaaaaaaand Kwen is in her little flower garden (Okay, it's not so little . . .), digging around, and uprooting some flowers.

All while muttering angrily . . .

There was a faint buzz sound. Kwen may not notice.

Oh, and Pesty runs into a wall while trying to "quietly" follow him.

Butler turns from Arlem a bit.

"Are you alright ma'am?"

The lolcatgirl pokes her head around a corner, waving a pencil.
Shhh. You can't sees me. I'm totally invisible and not running into stuff. You are totally unaware that I'm drawing you.
She seems fine, by Pesty standards.

[Halls]

Butler blinks, confused. "I can't ma'am?"
But... she was right there. He saw her clearly!

Hmm...
Butler turns to face Arlem again so he can't see Pesty and then calls out.
"Is this better ma'am?"

Kitchen

Dani arrives, and grabs a tub of ice cream!

[Beans]

Yes!

There's a few minutes of pencil scritching, followed by Pesty trotting out to Butler with a drawing pad displayed toward him; it's a rather good sketch of the catboy.
Ding! How's this?

"It's very well done ma'am! I think it's great ma'am."

Butler gives Pesty a grin.

[Beans]

... Wait, I've never seen you here before...

"I'm not new ma'am. I'm a vegeteranian ma'am!" Butler insists.

And then introduces himself. "I'm Butler B. Butler ma'am. Who are you ma'am?"

I'm Pesty, resident lolcatgirl and planar's wife and I like drawing and stuff and sugar and more sugar and did somebody steal your shirt?
She has impressive lung capacity, being able to say all that in one breath.

[Reinholdt]

"I don't think so ma'am. I don't own any shirts ma'am. Can something be stolen if there isn't anything there ma'am?"

[Beans]

Uh...
If I think too long about this I might forget what I was thinking about...
Eh, I have no idea. Probably not. Science would agree.

[Reinholdt]

"Who's Science ma'am?" Butler asks, before drinking some of his Nuka-Cola.

[Beans]

No, I mean, like... science. The... the... with the labcoats and the... test tubes and the chemistry and... that stuff!
But deadtime.
Nighty!

[Reinholdt]

"Science wears a labcoat ma'am? Doesn't that get kind of hot ma'am?"

Butler looks at Arlem for help, falling into their deadtime.

Angela is walking down a hallway when her step falters. Her whole body stiffens up, her foot left hanging in the air, before she forces control over herself. She carefully masks all feelings on her face and then keeps walking until she slips into an unused room. Then she releases a great deal of her divine energy in a violent, grieving blast. The interior of the empty room is completely destroyed with scarcely a bang! The foxgirl staggers out of the room, her emotions affecting her balance more than the sudden explosion of energy. Angela breaks down and runs quietly sobbing through the base, trying to find somewhere safe to cry before anyone sees her.
