GitP PrC Contest XXVII: Voting Thread!

ErrantX is facing a ton of hours at work these days, so in the interests of keeping everyone's favorite Gaia-avatar'd contest MC sane, I'm posting the voting thread this time around. Same rules apply as always, of course (and yes, I'm still in the running .

Lots of great entries this time around. Everyone has a little greatness in them, and it certainly shines when designing classes destined for incredible things. Plenty of familiar faces this time around, and some returning authors tossing their hats back in the ring. Without further adieu, let's get to the contestants!

I'm going to vote for the Unrepentant Pact-Bound Hunter.(what a mouthful.) I liked the blending of two disparate classes with interesting mechanics. The fluff of an all-consuming Hate isn't well represented in classes I can think of, either, which is another plus.

Part of what I didn't like about this contest was that it seems everyone has a different idea of what is Epic. Ideas which seem epic to some people come across as overdone to others. It's... unfortunate.

As much as I hate to do it this way, the Knight of the Nine, Tainted Assassin, and the Speaker of Forbidden Words are not eligible to win this contest as they are, unfortunately, incomplete. I'd remove them from the OP, but editing breaks my table and links, and that is a lot to re-do.

Maybe the problems I'm having will display themselves in this quoted post, but the URL parts just... vanish for me, leaving a code-y mess. Edit, quote, whatever I try to do ruins my table. No idea what's happening.

Throwing in a vote for Chained Devil Defiant. The crunch is very good, but the fluff is what makes it for me.

Hard choice but I'll go with the Unrepentant Pact-Bound Hunter I think it's the most flavorful of the lot and combine two class that I wouldn't have though about combining.

At First I didnt think this contest was that great, the idea just not appealing, however after reading the contestant entry im Amazed by the quality of the work and the idea submitted. This is probably the contest I had the most trouble voting for.

It came down at the end at not just the mechanics because most were outstanding, so I had to judge by the flavor this time and for me the winner is : Unosarta with The Jadewind Blademaster.

Was really close with Unbound and Unrepentant Pact-Bound Hunter.

I vote for the Unrepentant Pact-Bound Hunter, because I really do think mine is the best (only voted for Herald of Twilight because, well, see strike-through text. Sorry about the problems altering results.)

I let the judge answer you, but you can probably vote for yourself, it was allowed in the past, but unless your work is trully the best, its just "not feel right" to vote for yourself.

I love the Anathema. I like most of the other classes, too, especially the Chained Devil Defiant, but Anathema gets my vote here.

I am tossing my hat into the ring for the Unrepentant Pact-Bound Hunter as the winner; the fluff for this class is top notch and fun and overall I think its quite a good class.

I'm going to have to go with your entry Hyooz; the Anathema just has awesome cool factor that is impossible to ignore and some great pics to boot. It's hard not to like someone who becomes a black hole, essentially, such a perversion to reality that nothing can except you.
