It appears the fate of Mega-Primus is doomed. The Equestrian Government has entrusted the task of handling the recent incursion to an up and coming organisation known as Ponythread. Of course, their official name was the venerable organisation known as X-COM, but that was just a ruse to prevent panic. Princess Celestia must be...

Anyway, let's get to know our recruits shall we?


What a bunch of misfits. Our airship pilots are no better.


I give the city three weeks. Tops. Did I mention we're currently headquartered beneath the slums of the city? Marvellous view, isn't it?


Oh wait, there's a call already about aliens. Hm... at the local sewage plant.


I pray that our recruits would at least put up a good fight before going down like the rookies they are to the undoubtably superior alien force.

Well, I was going to introduce a new term to describe the fans who have watched my little pony since Generation 1 (the one with humans), or Generation 2, as Pony Dreadnoughts.

So far, only SlyguyMcFly has explicitly asked for a nickname, so the rest of you are getting default ones because it's interesting to see what you get. I actually forgot to include a couple of them, I'll make sure to do a write-up of the current state of the squad in my next report, maybe with a screenshot of the roster.

If somepony does something really memorable and exceptional, I might change the nickname to reflect it.

Very nice. You even used the right constitutive elements. Generating her from order would have been really tough, and probably involved more explosions.

Also, when and if you find a competant British Thanqol, you may name it Bleakbane.

Before each Battlescape mission begins, you can select to fight in either the traditional turn-based format, or a real-time format with a pause button to give out orders. It is a very bad idea to try out turn-based mode in Apocalypse.

Well, I was going to introduce a new term to describe the fans who have watched my little pony since Generation 1 (the one with humans), or Generation 2, as Pony Dreadnoughts.

That seems... a bit obscure... I'm not sure if something like that would catch on without being forced... Brony at least rolled off the tongue... Bro + Pony. Both simple easy words with meanings that are easily relatable. Dreadnought makes me immediately think of a battleship, not a historian...

Then again, I'm still trying to decide if it's worth bothering someone I like for the chance to see her again in person since it's been so long, or try to avoid seeming like I'm obsessive and clingy... so I've got a lot to think about.

The Episode that I connected with myself is "read it and weep". I initially hated My Little Pony and only watched the parody of the My Little Pony from nerf now and sandvich song. Then I watched My Little Pony on youtube and got hooked onto it.

Gunter, on the other hand, -IS- the most evil being in his universe, if Marceline's Dad has any respectable viewpoint. And since he can make the Ice-King soil his trousers with just a look, I'd say he does.

Also, eww, tests. +1 to hoping good grades were earned and faces will return with smile-smile-smiles! I haven't seen that episode in -months-, yet that song suddenly poped into my head at 8:47 am and hasn't left it since. Help.

Huh. Watching that scene with Discord and Fluttershy again. I never really thought about it the first time I watched it but... after Discord turns Fluttershy mean, he doesn't brag or even look smug about it. He just vanishes in a huff. Fluttershy standing up to him really got to him. And for some reason I now hate him slightly less. I just imagine him sulking after it happens, or maybe throwing a tantrum, because he didn't want to cheat, but he felt he had to because Fluttershy beat him.

EDIT: Oh, and have some comics. Both quite screen-stretchy.

She has inner peace. Of all of the ponies, she's the most aware of and accepting of her flaws, and he's not able to use them against her because of it.
