I think I understand it, but you might want to make the crunch a little more specific.

As I understand it, every time they put on the mask they get an additional +2 bonus that stacks with each other time they wear the mask and remains after the mask is removed. The bonuses continue to accrue until they reach Lazero's stats. That bit could be clearer.

Also, you might want to indicate a set or suggested number of failed will saves for the transformation into Lazero to be complete. Say, 5 after reaching Lazero's stats.

XD I had already chosen this way when it was first announced, I was amused to see that someone else had gone the undead route... Fey was not so much a surprise. though that smoke elemental one is quite interesting.

The Weirded Way is up. Any suggestions are welcome. In particular I want to know what people think of the CR. This is by far the toughest critter I've ever brewed, so I'm somewhat unknown territory here.

I'm gonna try to get mine up sometime before the deadline, but I don't know if I'll be able to make it. I've got a cousin's wedding to go to and then some other stuff to do, but I'm partially done already. I guess we'll see tomorrow (or, I guess, later today, since it's already 2am) if I finished.

If I do get it done, though, I think it should be pretty unique - the type is one that's rarely used, and it's got a very old-school style design mentality behind it.

Well, my online church service starts in an hour, so if VT sends me a last minute review instead of extending the deadline (and with the rush of late entries, who can blame him?) then I may be in a bit of a crunch. Regardless, I have the fluff to be in a state that I consider to be "complete, but not necessarily fully edited". As for the Crunch, I am still working on the last two or three size classes, so you can sorta ignore them for purposes of the contest... (TOO MANY FEATS... 32 or 64 HD gives a LOT of feats)...

Fey seemed the most appropriate type. Nobody was going to go humanoid, monstrous humanoids have...issues...in humanoid cities and fall into the same trap humanoids do in nonhuman cities, giants...yeah.

Aberrations were a good fit, as were plants. Animals and vermin, both boring. Elemental was a surprise, and a welcome one. I'm surprised at the lack of magical beasts. And dragons... dragon might have been fun to try.

But yeah - fey love to meddle with people... not surprised that was the highest showing.

I dunno, an urban giant might have been fun and monstrous humanoids don't have to be gimped.

Just because something is epic doesn't mean it's not usable. We've run two contests soley for epic creatures in fact.
