Alright. First things first--your save DCs are off. They should all be 10 + 1/2 the monster's HD + the monster's relevant ability modifier (in this case 12 + most likely Charisma). Also, a CR 6 monster with a death attack requiring just a grapple check and then a DC 30 Fortitude save is a bit much...death attacks are seldom seen at that level for a reason.

Also, according the the writeup for incorporeal creatures, when one becomes corporeal again it is shunted out of a solid object, taking 1d6 damage per 10ft traveled, making this more of an attack and less of an instant kill. I'd use that rule, as it makes the creature more balanced against its CR.

Traitor's Tongue is a nice touch, although I'm not sure why it doesn't just negate sound. Seems odd that it would simply corrupt it rather than remove it completely.

Steal Speech is both awesome and well done, although, as stated before, the DC is off. In the same vein, Devour Sound and Total Silence are both incredibly flavorful.

Overall, wonderful job, except that your save DCs are off, and you might have to increase its Charisma modifier to remedy the problem (and you really only need a save DC for Steal Speech, as Selective Incorporeality should have new mechanics). That will increase it's armor class, which may require a slight increase in CR. But great job!

Traitor's Tongue does what it does because the Sons/Daughters don't want to silence their enemies; they want to have sound to rob them of. Why silence them and rob yourself of the reason you're fighting in the first place when you can disrupt their communications and still steal what you want in the first place?

So, anyone got anything on the Peanut Reaper? Absurd, yes, but I'm more interested that I got the formatting and all the crunch-tastic stuff right. Just pretend it's some kind non-peanut wraith thing. This IS my first monster design ever, so I probably overlooked/forgot something.

Other than that, looks pretty good!

Okay, I'd like to do a Minor Great Old One, but looking at the d20 Cthulhu book, even if I do it in 3.5 format, it would still be a minor deity. Are deities okay? If they are I'll be debuting the Mother of Teeth soon. If not I may just try her as a unique demon of some sort or go with something else.

Much better, although I'd say you can go as high as 8d4 damage with the peanut-flinging thing without overpowering it.

My monster is now posted. Allow my to introduce the Dismal Haze. When i read the conest rules i was already thinking about making a monster that could generate a "haunted" type effect all on its own. Odviously is strange mist fills your hallways and books fly off the shelves ot beat the snot out of you then you have one of these in your attic.

I gave split the spells it could cast into two groups, so i could make the ones i wanted to focus on into Supernaturals and have then be cast at a higher level than the others.

First post and first homebrew, the Desgracia still has a ton of work to do, but I felt that if I were to get some comments while it is still in the alpha stage then I could avoid some major problems. Plus I'm not at my own computer and don't have a memory stick on me so I needed a way to stash the info.

Now the idea for the Desgracia was fueled by When you're evil, by Voltaire and my Econ class.

cr 3 incorporeal is probably a big no no the miss chance should be enough to bump it higher

and wow just looking through all the other entries why did everyone have to do ones based around sounds and words and speaking/singing cause that is what I did

Edit: Added the critical "Improved Incorporeality" specially quality.

Have added fluff, finished skills (I think...), and put in a few more abilities on my entry.

I have started to dial back the immunity to all elements to something that would just let it survive the natural forces of any plane without ever taking damage (even when its ethereal nature does not protect it)... so how much sonic damage is the maximum that Pandemonium can dish out? What about natural lightning strikes on the elemental plane of air? Is the Cold Resistance too low for planes of eternal ice? Decided to ditch the resistances for the moment... incorporeal protects even from the sonic damage of Pandamonium and the flames of the elemental plane of fire or the hells, right?

Still wondering what, if anything, to drop from the special abilities.

I've set it to 25 for now, but I'm not sure if that would be the best cr for it (given it's manner of splitting into multiple parts, and manner of attack). Also, are there any suggestions or notable errors that need be addressed?

You know, in retrospect, it kinda makes more sense for peanut reapers to be outsiders. In the planes where anything can happen, it is at least a very little slightly bit more remotely plausible that a pathological death peanut would be spawned....

My Free Spirit SHOULD be "complete" now... note that it no-longer has energy immunities (or even resistances), but I also wrote up a few of the abilities that make it VERY hard to keep out... Peirce Force Effect(or whatever I called that), and Improved Incorporeality.

Edit:Scaled the number of attacks back to 8...

Why is the Grapple Bonus +34? Where does the additional +4 come from?

Is it’s Space/Reach supposed to be 0 ft.? If it’s Space is 10’ it should be Large.

Saves should be Fort +13, Ref +17, Will +15

You still have 120 skill points to spend

It has no Feats. Was this intentional?

Assimilate: Im assuming this is a Supernatural Ability. If that’s the case the Saving Throw is usually 10 plus half Hit Dice plus Charisma Modifier
