Monster death match!

For those real crunch fans, i have 'made a game' called monster death match. basically, you roll a d4 and a percentile to get your monster manual page number, then use the monster listed on that page as a death match character. then you run around the dungeon trying to kill each other!

Was fun when i played. what do you guys think?

So what happens when one player gets a Solar and the other gets a cat. Or a Solar vs. babau. Or Solar vs. basically anything.

Yeah, having two creatures of vastly different CRs may be a bit of a challenge for the cat. Though I hear they're deadly against commoners.

Solar's first turn = Wish the Gold Dragon was defeated.

Equal CR doesn't do it, CR doesn't balance to solo a monster nor does it guard the rock paper scissors effect.

IMO have a defense match, throw waves of monsters at a defense point until it breaks, increasing the CR .5 by .5
