Maybe that's it. I seem to remember a halfling, but maybe he was a gnome. I just remember goggles, and a blowtorch.

I believe I know what you're talking about, and all I can pull from my memory is a Mc and an underscore. So, perhaps, something like Crabs_McGee. Except that's not it. 'Cause I know it's not it.

eDiT: A very reliable source has suggested this guy. Unfortunately, it appears it doesn't show his avatar there. Unless I've been hallucinating, this guy should be the person you're looking for, as his old avatar I seem to remember had a short person with a flamethrower and goggles on.
