Default OOTS #379 - The Discussion Thread

Today's comic is about 10 hours late due to extreme technical difficulties. (My laptop died.)

    It's up now.

    Worth the wait.

The skeleton puppet...hilarious. How did they get the skeleton back, though, if the bird ate him? The title's great, too.

That was great, nothing like a Tuesday morning smile.
"I enjoy being a partially digested skeleton."

But seriously, what is the skeleton complaining about. He's getting ressurected, he's a nameless NPC, they're supposed to be the redshirts of DnD.

I am in complete agreement with Belkar.

Shojo '08! But who'll his running mate be?

Also, I can't imagine what the REAL Elan's response would have been to Shojo putting on a puppet show XD

I get the distinct impression that Shojo's "act" of being nuts is only partly an act. Or maybe it was all an act when he started, but now he's actually losing it a little. Because seriously, that was just wrong, dude.

Sorry to hear about the laptop, Rich.
Congratulations, you can link to TV Tropes. This does not mean you have special insight into the storytelling process, much less the author's mind. Stories don't need to fit into neat boxes, you know.

In answer to Llama's query: bones are indigestible, so the bird probably either vomited or excreted them. Probably the latter, since the skeleton is largely intact (imagine how big a pellet a bird that size'd poop out). I wonder if Shojo did a Topo Gigo voice during his routine. He's got a morbid sense of humor, that old buzzard....
