Elan has always been one of my favorites, and following his character arc to this point just makes me want to see where he could go next.

I was sort of wondering if something was going to cause Elan to briefly flip out and call multi-layered fantasy (especially with all the perhaps-predictable theories on the forum along those lines).

And we're on the move again! I'm almost suspecting there'll be a PoV switch here, but...not sure.
