    Default Name That Supervillain Team!

    I'm going to be running a Mutants and Masterminds game, and I would like the antagonist group comprised of supervillains unrealistically cooperating for the greater evil to be called T.A.R.O.T.

    I'm looking for suggestions on what T.A.R.O.T. might stand for.

    At first glance I would go with Tyrannical Anarchist Revolutionaries Of Terra and give them a R'as al Ghul, "kill people to heal the planet" vibe.

    It could be their initials.


    They were calling themselves "The Rot", but then someone mistook that for "Tarot" and the name stuck. Maybe an evil magician liked the name and joined, or something.

    If the members have themes related to Tarot cards I could maybe see it working easily without needing an acronym. It also leaves room to grow and assign new member titles etc.

    ex: You got someone with excessive powered/Super strength, he's assigned the strength card etc.

    If you want to make it even more dramatic have them pronounce the card names in Italian or something. ~chuckle~

    T.A.R.O.T stands for "Titles Are Recursive Of T.A.R.O.T"

    Some kind of save may be required to stop robots going into and endless loop.

    I like that idea, but I couldn't help myself from pointing out that tarot is pronounced more like "ter-oh" than "ter-aht".
