Morph Bark Presents: Double-Layered Homebrew Compendium! Homebrew Prestige Classes!

Ladies and gentlemen! It's likely that you know of my Homebrew Tier Compendium, an extensive project going since over a year and including tons of classes and auxiliary material. In there, I've often been asked to Tier a PrC, a Prestige Class. Now, that thread wasn't meant for PrCs, and PrCs are also a lot harder to Tier due to their different nature from base classes that they build further on. However, that changes today! (Somewhat.) This thread right here is for PrCs! However, it's not just any PrCs that this thread is for, and I certainly won't Tier them. Tiering PrCs would take a lot more time, because PrC Tiers are based on how they modify existing classes' Tiers. Furthermore, there are SO MANY PrCs out there, that I could not possibly begin to want to collect them all. So, what is my goal then? My goal is to collect PrCs of a certain kind, or, well, actually several kinds that particularly strike my fancy.

First off, I will collect two different categories of PrC. The first is the most important: Homebrew PrCs based off Homebrew base classes. This is because this thread's prime function is as a supporting thread to the Homebrew Tier Compendium. The second category is PrCs based off non-Core official subsystems. These include Magic of Incarnum's meldshapers, Tome of Battle's martial adepts, and Tome of Magic's binders, shadow mages and truenamers. This second category is defined this way, because Core base classes already have tons of material for them, so it's incredibly easy to find something for them, plus Core magic's mechanics aren't all that interesting. Non-Core base classes that don't use a subsystem are also left in the dark by this, but because they aren't tied to a subsystem, it would require a lot more detailed archiving and looking over PrCs, and at least half of them aren't that interesting anyway. At least the subsystems see a lot of use among Homebrew base classes and PrCs, and therefore fit nicely alongside Homebrew PrCs based off Homebrew base classes.

PrCs will still be required a certain level of quality to be listed, and PrCs based on base classes listed in the Homebrew Tier Compendium will be listed more quickly (so feel free to ask me to review/Tier one in the other thread if it's not listed yet), but I'll be less strict overall than with the other thread.

The Margrave of the Black Gate - A binder / ebon initiate prestige class with a unique vestige, Ahriman the Darkness Beyond the Gate. They become wraiths bound to fetters in the material world to prevent being devoured by Ahriman.

The Necromera - A vampiric ascendant of the ebon initiate class

The Twixil Nightblade - A martial adept / ebon initiate that is a hunter of the dead.

The Ashen Knight - A martial adept / ebon initiate who evolves into a death knight like being with a deadly blade.

The Frostwrought Scion - An ebon initiate / arcane spellcaster class the evolves the character into a frostwrought lich.

The Death Mashal (and other variants) - A gunslinger / ebon initiate hybrid that is a hunter of the dead. Variants include ranger, magus, and inquisitor hybrids with gunslinger.

The Seeker of the Fallen - A channeler / arcane caster hybrid that is a hunter of demons.

Sublime Form Master: Get a bunch of stances, but no maneuvers.

Leap Dragoon: Based on Freya Crescent from Final Fantasy IX. Leaps to other planes to gain a moment to focus, then returns with re-doubled momentum. Originally a contest entry it now resides in the first two posts (I have to split it, due to size) of its own thread. As for the contest my entry is first tentatively mentioned in the chat thread HERE. The part of the discussion thread relevant to that overall contest starts HERE. ((THIS HAS TWO PATHS, ONLY ONE OF THEM USES THE SUBLIME WAY))

I'm actually pondering on whether to include invokers or not, as I see it as a bit of a half-a-subsystem the way it is.

I ended up finding a lot more Invoker PrCs and a few base classes, and already added a few to the list, deciding to just keep it in. Also added Artificer/Infusion-users. Couldn't add the already linked PrCs in this thread, because I always lose my internet at midnight until 7 AM.

Added all the stuff from Krimm_Blackleaf and The Demented One, as I knew they had tons of stuff, especially ToB-related. Will add the other linked material in this thread today.

EDIT: I'm thinking of adding an "NPC PrC" category as well. I found that Welknair has a lot of them, and so do I, and I was wondering if there are any more people who've made any NPC-specific PrCs.

Nope. This is mostly because I love theurges, in spite of how many of them are focused primarily or solely even on Core subsystems.
