Monk Bonus Feats?
PHB II says in the Fiery Ki Defense and Ki Blast feat descriptors that either of these feats can be selected as the Monk's bonus feat at Level 8. I've searched everywhere and can't seem to find anything that indicates the monk gets a bonus feat at level 8. Am I missing something? If so, what other levels do they get bonus feats?

It is assumed its a misprint and means lvl 6. Note this is an assumption other players have made with the same question you have.

The errata for PHB2 isn't out yet, but I assume that will be one of the things included. For now it's probably safe to assume it means 6th level.

I assumed as much, but thought I'd check in case there was an errata I wasn't aware of...since I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to rules.

The silly part comes when you realise that a Monk 6 doesn't have the BAB 6 that they mention is needed while other pre-requisites are ignored... ;p

Personally I'm not a fan of fiery ki defense at level 2 because I don't think monks should gain a supernatural power that early.

Maybe it means that if you don't take your bonus feat at 6th level, you can take Ki Blast at 8th level once you meet the prerequisites.
Just an idea. I think it's probably a load of rubbish myself.
