    Default Hulking Hurlers

I noticed that the hulking hurler in the Complete Warrior book has Weapon Focus (rock). Does a rock count as a simple weapon..?

Also, to any people that have played a hulking hurler, is there any advise you could give on which two-handed hurl tricks to pick, or any other useful advice?

I would be grateful for any help with hulking hurlers.

Considering it doesn't exactly take a lot of training to pick up and throw a rock, I'd say it would be a simple weapon.

As for hurl tricks...the one that lets you throw somthing that is two size categories larger than yourself would be a good one. Combine the Hulking Hurler with the War Hulk prestige class and you have a mean character.

Typically, a rock would be an improvised weapon, actually. However, the example hurler is a stone giant, which has a rock-throwing special attack that effectively makes rocks standard weapons for them.
