Trog's Second Floor VI

[AmberVael]

Once you walk upstairs in Trog's Tavern, you find yourself looking down a long hall at twenty doors. Each room has one large bed in it, a desk and chair, and a couple of chairs at a small table.

Romulus sits down next to her, on the edge of the bed, and tries to pull the covers down.

Going out, I feel the strong need to get out into the sunshine.

Alex nods "I think we can manage that"

Svala glares at him as he pulls the covers down, and she pulls her wings over her instead.

[Romulus]

"What's gotten into you today?"

[AmberVael]

Nothing. Stop bugging me. Svala's voice is a little muffled behind her wings.

[Romulus]

Romulus sighs. "I'll be right back." He goes over to the door.

[AmberVael]

Svala pulls the covers back over her.

[Romulus]

With a sigh Romulus heads downstairs for a drink.

A little brunch first?

"Yeah, been a while since I ate something."

Alena smiles and kisses him again, I'm already dressed, just let me get my instrument bag. She gets off the bed.

Alex rolls off the bed and gets dressed.

Alena gathers up her bag and after he's finished dressing opens the door for him.

Alex smiles and walks through the door and downstairs, kissing Alena when he passes her.

Alena closes and locks the door, following him downstairs.

Romulus enters the room and shuts the door. Not saying anything, he sits in a chair so he can watch Svala, and sits there thinking.

Svala hasn't moved at all, but her wings flick again as Romulus enters.

[Romulus]

Romulus sighs as he figures he's going to be in for a long wait. I love you Svala, I hope you don't worry that this is going to change that. he thinks to himself.

Svala remains as she is.

[Romulus]

Romulus begins to softly hum.

[AmberVael]

Svala shifts her wings to cover her head again.

[Romulus]

Romulus stops humming and sits there, waiting patiently.

[AmberVael]

Svala glances up at him. What are waiting for? I feel like you're a vulture waiting for me to die or something.

[Romulus]

"You said wether I stay or go is my choice. Well, I made my choice. I'd stay by you, through anything. I don't understand what you're going through right now, and I won't pretend to at this time. I'm just sitting here allowing you to rest."

[AmberVael]

Not very restful when I feel my every move is being watched.

[Romulus]

"I'm sorry then, I'll try to get some rest over here." He closes his eyes.

[AmberVael]

Svala shifts her wings a little and finally goes back to sleep.

[Romulus]

Romulus watches her, the pain of seeing this apparent in his eyes, though he tries to hold strong. He slowly closes his eyes again and falls back to sleep.

Romulus opens his eyes slightly and looks to Svala. He shifts slightly in the chair, trying to find a more comfortable position.

Svala remains as she is, still asleep.
