Hi, and welcome to The Sticks Awards!

Note: To vote in the other 5 comics, please visit the The Sticks Awards 121-130 Down thread.

The Sticks Awards are given to the best strips of all times, chosen by the polls here in the Playground. Previously, each poll had a group of 10 comics, chronologically chosen. But due to a new setting of the board software that limited poll options up to 5 only, we had to switch to this new format. Two polls of 5 comics each. Whichever comic gets more votes in both polls qualifies to the finals.

Also, the links cannot be provided in the poll options anymore, since there is also a 25-chars limit on them. So, I'm putting them here. This week's comics will feature strips from #121 to 125 (the upper half) and from #126 to 130 (the lower half).

Yep. Hopefully, the two winners of the polls will be put up against eachother in some future poll. I'd think of a 4-option poll of the previous two weeks' results, or something, but it could just be a battle royale in the future.

There was a thread about this that I think contained what was going to be settled on.... the first Sticks Awards 121-130 post.

Actually, it's up to the voter. You can vote in both polls if you wish. I really don't think that this will affect the final outcome. At least not too much.

And I really like the idea of doin a runoff with the 4 previous winners.

Huh. The only way to make this fair, given that we've already done 120 comics under the earlier system, would be to say that you only vote in one poll for each ten, so whichever gets the most votes of the ten is the winner. No run-off needed. But that would mean starting the 121-130 voting again so that you could make this clear in the original post. It would also need to be a public poll to prevent cheating......

I'm voting for 129 anyway.
