Drunkenness
Two questions: One, where could I find rules for PC drunkenness, and two, failing that, what do you guys do for drunkenness in games? I only ask because one of my new players backstories involves him being an alcoholic, and I think situations in which an inebriety rule will be needed.

Re: Drunkenness
I think you can find rules for drugs and addictions in the Book Of Vile Darkness. I'm not sure that alcohol is there, though.
Use nauseated/dazed/stunned for different types of inebriation, if you can't find the book.My first character was a first edition thief.

There are rules for getting drunk in the Arms and Equipment Guide.

Re: Drunkenness
I think someone on the homebrew board created rules for it a while ago, treating alcohol as a poison. Try searching for it, I remember them as being fairly good.

Re: Drunkenness
The poison approach is handy, since it gives dwarves an average +3 advantage over humans when boozing.
