Sefrelari [Race for Tome of Battle]

The following race is designed to be used with Tome of Battle: The Book of Nine Swords.

Sefrelari
Personality: Sefrelari are a stern people. They are known for their utter devotion to any cause. They tend to be single-minded and very determined. Sefrelari rarely have fun and often spend generations trying to accomplish a goal.
Physical Description: A sefrelar resembles a human with slightly-tanned skin, long silver hair, silver eyes, and silver finger and toenails. They stand anywhere between six and seven feet in height and are often well-muscled and in good shape.
Relations: Sefrelari aren't very open to other races, and only work with outsiders if it helps them achieve their goals. They dislike elves with a passion and find them to be too carefree.
Alignment: Sefrelari tend to be of a lawful alignment.
Sefrelar Lands: Sefrelari often live in deserts, plains, or hills. Wherever they live, it tends to be an open area. They prefer to live in places where it often rains, for sefrelari are oddly attracted to rain and gray skies.
Religion: The chief deity of the sefrelari is the goddess Sefaranel. Sefaranel is Lawful Good and teaches that followers should be devoted to her, to their families, to the sefrelari race, and to any cause that still allows them to uphold the first three devotions. Her favored weapon is the longsword. Her domains are Strength, Law, and Good.
Language: Sefrelari speak their own language (also called Sefrelari) which is graceful and flowing. They usually speak it in whispers, giving it a mysterious quality.
Names: Sefrelari names always begin with the prefix Sef-. Male names include Sefanar, Sefanelos, Sefrelios, and Sefra. Female names include Sefara, Sefirilia, Sefolian, and Sefiana.
Adventurers: Sefrelari adventures tend to be the leaders of adventuring parties. They often lead groups on quests, never allowing them to give up or become sidetracked.

Sefrelari Racial Traits

• +2 Strength, +1 Charisma, -2 Wisdom: Sefrelari are strong and charismatic, but are penalized in wisdom thanks to their innate single-mindedness.
• Medium: As Medium creatures, sefrelari have no special bonuses or penalties due to their size.
• Sefrelari base land speed is 30 feet.
• +2 racial saving throw bonus against charm and compulsion effects used to try to make the sefrelar stop doing a task he or she is devoted to.
• Weapon Proficiency: Sefrelari receive Martial Weapon Proficiency feats for the longsword and greatclub.
• +2 racial bonus on Intimidate and Diplomacy checks.
• Automatic Languages: Common and Sefrelari. Bonus Languages: Any (other than secret languages, such as Druidic).
• Favored Class: Crusader (Devoted Spirit)

Umm... What do you mean by Crusader (Devoted Spirit)? Just Crusader won't cut it?

And never give a race an odd modifier to an ability. Ever.

Giving a +1 ability score is not good, that's a cardinal rule of race building. You may want to flesh fluff out a bit more, as I have no idea why they'd favor Crusader. Gray skies does not usually associate with LG crusading-types.
