Please let this be a class!!!
I'm curious if the class "charming swordsman" (used by Elan the Bard) is a real class. It would be perfect for a new character I'm making. I'm also wondering if there are any good classes for bard (i'm sure there are many)

Dashing Swordsman is not a class, but D1 made a good homebrew version of it on these boards. You can find it in the homebrew fora.

Well, it isn't "Dashing Swordsman", but the Swashbucker class in Complete Warrior comes pretty close...

If you go to the WOTC site and do a search for Arcane Duelist, that is a good "swashbuckling bard" PrC (main highlight being adding Cha to your AC).
