It is at the height of the empire, the lands have been connected and the queen of all ponykind has been ruling for decades. Under her rule the common ponies, and other races, found peace and prosper without a lot to worry about.
However evil is never stopped... The last few months strange rumors were coming about a small village named Ever Rain. At first started when traders coming from Ever Rain remarked the fact the village ponies were getting colder and more distance. Over time trading was getting harder as the ponies seemed to interact less and less with outsiders. Then a couple of weeks ago came even stranger news, they were building a wall across the village and a part of the forest itself, sealing the village off from the rest of the world. And a few weeks ago the rumors exploded in all kinds of things. Some ponies say the land around the village is getting darker, as if the Sun Goddess herself is loosing grip on the land. There is even talk about that The Night Mare is trying to control the lands, but why would she start with such a little village? Others rumors talk about horrible creature stalking the forest, creatures that never lived there, creature that hungered for ponies them self. And then there is a story of a young pony that climbed over the new all of Ever Rain and saw a strange black hole in the forest, as if there was a breach in the fabric of reality. Some ponies even dare to whisper that The Unspoken is behind this and this is one of his many strange pranks.
Whatever the case Ever Rain needs help, and the Empire, in name of the Queen, send out a call for help. You are a pony of fame (or infamy) recognized in the land and heard the calling. You decided your talents where needed to investigate what is happening at Ever Rain. Those that helped and served the empire might even got a personal letter asking for help. Other's might have heard the increasing rumors and decided to check out on your own.

Style of Play: Magical Ponyventures and Fantastical Ponyquests.
Allowed Content:

• Anything Paizo Published
• Ponyfinder and the expansion Griffons of Everglow
• Anything Dreamscarred Press that's on the d20pfsrd

Character Creation:

• Backstory: Never hurts, perhaps a bit to tie in to the plot once it's there.
• Experience: 7th level, medium track (35,000 xp)
• Wealth: by level (23,500 gp)
• Ability Scores: 25 Pointbuy
• Hitpoints/Health: Average
• Alignment: Any good works, neutral a bit but keep the teamworks spirit high.
• Traits: 2 traits (preferable non Golarion, non campaign ones)

Also a topic to discuss, how do we start off the campaign groupwise? Everypony having a shared backstory or be part of a military unit? Or are you just strangers, faithfully arriving at the same time without any prior connection and just happen to be the only ones that can do something?
Or a mix of both options, where each of you guys is tied to a group at the scene (Military, villagers of Ever Rain, The Seekers) so some of you already know each other, but other's might not. Or perhaps one of you has a different idea?

Technically Ultra Pony is not a pony. Don't confuse it with a clockwork pony, which is a pony. Also don't confuse it with a Earth Pony...

Now time to make a career of her abusing her powers to subvert the wills of her fellow ponies. As an aside, Bladie has the bluffing and mind link talents, so we should be pretty well able to communicate. I'm sure you have telepathy, too...

Entero doesn't have to watch you cast anything, when he wakes up in the morning he can pick six Powers anyone else in his Network can manifest and add them to Powers Known as long as they stay Networked and he has a Psionic Focus... which he has two of thanks to Psicrystal Containment. Oh, and Touchsight qualifies as an auto-Network Power due to being a personal buff. Can't wait to see the look on Bladie's face when she brings up Touchsight and Entero brings it up on the rest of the team at once. He doesn't advertise THAT particular bit of power, though. Also has Collective Telepathy, so literally everyone in the team gains telepathy with each other.

Did I mention I'm good with Vitalists? if one of you dies by anything other than massive stupidity or DM fiat, I was either asleep or dead at the time.

Hrm. I don't mind backing off and allowing a niche to be held, I can swap out Resonance... but I really (REALLY) need to be able to hold the group together in a Collective. I lose about 2/3 of my abilities otherwise. Need to figure out how to make sure we can all work in there. My big thing is buffing, though, so borrowing your personal buffs and casting them across the network as needed is one way... or saving your actions and resources by casting them on you for you

I'll be asking you the player about my Resonance prep at the beginning of each day. In-character, he will either notify or apologize when he uses your powers, but you have several that become Network when he manifests them.

Discussing the ideal unicorn, Entero will be all over. Glad that part got worked out.

On the subject of pretending subservience, he either IS (to someone above him in rank or by appointment) or ISN'T (anyone else). They don't really do the pretend thing. That's a really common thing in military folk, whether they are actively in or just associated with service members.
