    Default Dungeonscape question

Where's the love for non-core base classes? I mean, Warlocks at the very least should have gotten a passing nod of support, eh?

The general rule is that WotC supplements only reference the core books. That way you don't have to own every supplement in existence in order to use the new book (and also saves WotC the trouble of balancing all the supplements with each other, much to the chagrin of anyone who needs to do so themselves).

There are a couple exceptions, like the PHB2.

No love because you can't love what most people consider half-way. A beguiler is half a rougue and half a mage..not too good at either though!

That struck me as a bit odd, since Cityscape gave three new Invocations. Since the Warlock is all about endurance it would make sense for them to include new things for them

Actually, they're moving away from that model, Jas. More recent books (Magic Items Compendium, Complete Mage, Dragon Magic, and as you brought up, PHB II) do reference other supplements, a move for which I applaud Wizards.
