The Historian: This DM has the history of his world written out millenniums back. It is intricate, complex, and most importantly, incredibly long. Moreover, everything your characters are doing is based on the previous history. It also tends to lead to loudmouth NPCS who will explain hundreds of years of history at a time while the players try to gouge their eardrums out with mechanical pencils.

Favored Enemy ?
Just a quick question,
I'm homebrewing a prestege class with a requirement of having a favored enemy, and was wondering are their other ways to gain a favored enemy without taking a level of ranger?The Historian: This DM has the history of his world written out millenniums back. As far as Core? Not that I know of... although, you could very easily turn favored enemy into a feat. In fact, it might be better that way.

(Illithid) Slayer gets you Favored Enemy, the XPH version is set in stone to be illithids, the OGL version can be any psionic creature.
Man this thing was full of outdated stuff.
