    Default Action Figure Comics!

Check out Action Figure Comics! It's a pretty cool D&D webcomic done with photography and action figures.

I thought this sounded kind of dumb, but it's really neat! :)

    Thanks for the plug, TinSoldier!

OotS is what inspired me to start my comic. Unfortunately, I can't even draw stick figures, so I used Stikfas figures. ;)

Despite my reservations, that was pretty funny...

I didn't realise you could get Stikfas like those, even if they were upgraded with plasticene...

That's good stuff! The humor isn't OotS-level, but the use of the figures and the general setting... fantastic! Bookmarked for repeat viewing.

They are the wonderful action figures used in that Action Figure Comics!

    I lend Wikipedia's definition :

Stikfas ( http://www.stikfas.com/ ) are 3.25 inch (8 cm) model assembly figures/toys. Once built they can be customized with stickers (packaged as Stikers) and different pieces. The design principle behind a STIKFAS is that all of the joints are ball/socket, and offer exceptional poseability, interchangeability, and articulation.

They are sold as "kits" that include accessories, and Stikers, and additional models (dragon, dog, cat, bike, horse, octopus...) to accentuate the "theme" of each kit.

Its cool, and I thank you for the new comic option. Though nothing can substitute OOTS as the reigning D&D webcomic.

    Thanks!

I wouldnt' dare attempt to replace OotS. It can't be done.

Since my characters and milieu are similar to OotS, I decided, in an effort to be at least a little different from OotS, I would have to avoid the anachronisms and direct D&D references* that Rich uses to such good effect. I didn't know it at first, but this self-imposed restriction makes it real hard to come up with jokes! Sometimes I'm still scratching my head late at night the day before an update with no script. But, it's still fun!

*My only direct D&D reference is in episode 6

Interesting medium, and a good story as well.

Vey nice, good setup with sets and all the differnt figures (sequined armoured orcs get my thumbs up).

I've got my own photocomic/dio story (links in my sig), considerably more half assed in it's approach though, so I know how much effort it takes and yours has definately paid off.

And Stikfas aren't toys, they're action figures ;)
