That was an interesting episode. They gave the moon theme lyrics in a fashion, which was unexpected, but they're definitely embracing all the fan favourites.
I do hope the rest of the season doesn't follow her, though; all the other characters are too great to abandon like that, even for half a season.
Also, leave it to Scrooge to build a rocket that runs on gold. I can't decide whether that's the only ship he'd have interest in, or if he'd fire Gyro for being so wasteful if he ever found out.

IIRC, it hasn't been confirmed that world hunger is still an issue in Ducktales.
Besides, maybe it's even more costly than ten years' worth of food and water to produce.

So they're skipping 8, showing 9, skipping 10, showing 11-14, then showing 8, then showing 15. Oh, and they're undoing their previous decision to renumber the episodes so as to move the last third of Season 1 into Season 2.

Most Dangerous Game (Night) was always advertised as the first episode of season 2.

They're advertising it as the return of Lena.

Anyway, the new episode makes it clear the Duck family have their own copy of the Norse Problem Solving Chart, just with Loki scratched out and Louie written in its place. Cool fight scene in the third act, though.

4 New Episodes dropped from May 7th to May 10th. Including a resolution of an important plot point and a start of a new arc.

And we are getting 4 new episodes next week as well.

Yeah, I was kind of uncomfortable with having a big episode around Jim Cummings (although to be fair, they probably filmed that episode before the news broke about him), but I rather liked the episode regardless.
