Resolve Haley and Elan, resolve it now!

The coded messages were a fun gimmick to begin with but they ceased to be that a long time ago. I don't appreciate having to decode the dialog in a comic strip and I am not wasting time doing it in order to get a joke which will -more often than not- not be all that funny anyway.

I know there are many out there who claim that they enjoy the cryptograms but these tend to be the same people that claim to fall of their chair laughing after every strip. As these people obviously have no sense of proportion then their opinions don't count.

On a positive note I thought the comic strip was mildly amusing (it wasn't funny but I don't suppose they all have to be) and I thoroughly support Roy having sex with the blue, winged chick.

Afterthought: If the cryptograms are going to be incoporated into the comic Rich could just add a decoded script at the bottem of the comic. Alternatively, if he had the technical know-how, he could include a flash animation in the comic that reverted the text to english when you moved the mouse over the speach bubble.

There's no need to insult the people who do like cyrtograms to make the point that you don't like them. I don't like them either. And in any case the people who keep falling out of their chairs laughing are too busy getting back up to decrypt the cryptograms. ;)

Once while DMing my current group I did laugh so hard at something that I fell over backwards in my chair, sheering off the bolts that held the left armrest to the chair!

No apology necessary. I'm sure it's tough to translate from goblinoid to English. ;)

Nonetheless, it's nice to see :)
What's dodgy about them spending the night together? After all, they're two consenting adult creature types. ;)

Seconded. What consenting adults do behind closed doors is their business, so long as they don't hurt anyone or intentially pass communicable diseases.

And the tousled bed-head look definately works for Celia!

I have to say I found the last joke less funny than the first: "Based on the proximity of that explosion..." ;D V's revenge is obviously carefully planned, I just wonder how many explosions it will take before Belkar learns to read nothing.

Has anyone else noticed that Haley is only in the first panel, even though she should be seen behind Elan. I know that not until the last panel is it obvious, but I think The Giant left her out on purpose.

I am just worried she ran off after seeing Elan again this morning, and is getting into trouble. Look at her face, she is still upset. Roy is the only one looking that way for most of the comic, and he could be distracted about hiding Celia. She is a rogue, she can sneak.

I noticed that she didn't appear beyond the first panel, but didn't think anything of it.

Plot advancement, halflings taking an explosive runes to the face and a very dishevelled Celia. Again, this comic had everything. ;D

That really was what got it for me. Not the fact that he was hiding her, or the explosive runes, or really anything else. I read that part and couldn't help cracking up.

It's the first time I've seriously laughed at this strip in months.

My guess: after being blown up with the coffee Belkar decided to take a nice cold shower. So he went in, all naked and as the halfling-god created him and then he touched that water tap... BOOOOOOM!
