Default [SWd20] Starting a campaign issues

Well, ill DM for the first time soon (SW, i have DMed D&D for over a year), and I wanted to hear your advice.

The campaign will start with the execution of Order 66 and as there is at least 1 (possibly 2) force sensitive people in the party; they will be trying to survive in a hostile world.

I need a planet on the Outer Rim (or something far away from the control of the Republic) where a fallen jedi could have been trained into a Sith. Also, who do you think could have trained him? Dooku? Sidious? A expanded universe Sith i dont know about?

I really dont care a lot about the expanded universe. Ill use it if its cool, but as long as it fits with the movies, it`ll do.

    Thanks.

I don't know much about the SW Universe, so to me it seems the easiest thing to do is make it up. Just create a planet name, think of something to make it unique and memorable (try making it entirely composed of stone, and the only vegetation is moss and lichen and whatnot), and there you go.

As for how they might get trained, you can do the same thing - make it up. Here's the backstory:

Many, many years ago, a promising young Jedi went out into the Universe with his Master to investigate a supposed Sith sighting. They arrived on the planet Geosvar, a desolate, rocky world only to find that their suspicions were correct. They encountered the Sith Lord and his Apprentice, and the Apprentice was soon slain. The Sith Lord (I think they have corruption abilities in SWd20, right?) proceeded to tell the young Jedi what the power of the Dark Side could do for him (Evil: We're Always Hiring!). The Sith told the Jedi that all he had to do was slay his Master, and take the throne as the new Sith Apprentice. So he did. However, as the years went on, he began to regret his decision, and eventually escaped back to Geosvar, long since abandoned by everyone else. However, the Dark Side doesn't give up such a powerful ally so easily, and he continued to fancy himself a Sith, just not as ruthless as the rest of them. Upon hearing of the destruction of the Jedi*, he sent out mental messages urge force-sensitive people to come to his planet. And thus the players arrived.

*By this point, of course, he's super-ancient, so he'd rather take on a Jedi with formal training that someone that has no idea how to wield the Force properly. Basically, though, he's the Dark Side version of Yoda.

To be pedantic, there are already two Sith in the galaxy.

When it comes to planets, there's that little planet where some Sith hung out for a while. Including Dooku and his dark acolytes.

'Course, if you don't want that big a connection to the Seps, there's always artifacts of ancient, forbidden knowledge, and not quite dead masters.

Great! I`ll use that, a Dark Acolyte. Thanks!!!

As for the planet, I found a planet called Ziost that really fits, dont you think?

Bah. I find it hard to believe that in the entire galaxy of Force-sensitives, there are only two people who openly fancy themselves Sith Lords, and command the power to back it up. The Sith aren't a unified Order like the Jedi; they've been obliterated and reformed so many times that there are probably a billion Dark Lords out there that are just somewhat overshadowed by people like Sideous.
