List O' Genres
Basically, I want to make a list of as many RPG genres possible, noting those that do and do not have a specific system for them.
So let's start with the basics:
High-Fantasy (D&D of course, Exalted)
Superheroes (Mutants and Masterminds)
Dark Future Cyberpunk (Cyberpunk 2020)
Comedic Future (Paranoia)
Futuristic Low-Tech (Wars)

Dark Fantasy- Warhammer Fantasy RPG, probably some other systems as well.

Modern Fantasy (Changeling, Mage)
Medeival Fantasy (White Wolf Dark Ages game lines)
Gothic/Punk (Vampire, Werewolf, Wraith, maybe Mage)
Then again, all game lines can quickly fall into the "I hit things until they fall down" genre, which is bad.You're part of something larger now. It's like you've been eaten...by something larger.

True, it is a Space Opera, but it is hi-tech futuristic when compared to Wars. Though I guess Wars does have a sci-fi mechanic with its Kizen. Originally Posted by Bosh
