I'm not sure I have the right idea of the current scene.
Most of the goons and Beauregard are up on the raised platform with the party. There are medium sized lizards that are swimming in the lake and possibly still eating some of the men. The other large lizard is missing but out there somewhere.
Vorgrimler and his man are missing but were last seen at the other end of the Causeway.

Do I got it right?

Harman would normally accompany Gabriele if she can't be talked out of it, but since he is already quite wounded he is staying put.

If the lizards that Gabriele can see are large enough to be a problem or if no one is willing to go with her that's different and she'll stay on the high ground.

Vorgrimler will have to manage for himself for a bit.

Hey all, just want to let you know that my wife and son have been hit with stomach flu. It seems to last about two days. Right now, I'm okay, but the odds of me not catching it are grim. If I'm unresponsive in the next few days, the flu will be the reason why.

Thanks, I was recovered enough to enjoy Christmas dinner. What took me by surprise is how physically and mentally exhausted I was, so even though the nasty bits were done in about 24 hours, I ended up calling in sick at work for two days more...which took me right into the Christmas celebrations.

I'm catching up on all my games and will get an IC post up tomorrow if needed.

As scouts the two of you are essential employees so Lorenzo will have to wait for you if you wanted to take more time to wrap up loose ends and stick the loose ends in a shallow grave. He might be annoyed about it, though.

I suppose it depends if we want to hide the body. I can't see Tollares' people caring that much about Tick as such.

So how about we try and grab Tick first, to see if we can get him to confirm he brought our missing girl here and what he did with her. If she's escaped, he might even have heard about it.

If he confirms she was here, we go looking for tracks again around the sinkhole? The only other alternative I can come up with is to try and schmooze the slaves into letting us know whether they know about the sinkhole and have been fleeing that way when and as they can. Might be a bit tough though, given their reaction to seeing Severin with Manglepie. I suppose it might be possible to get a start with them if Severin actually manages to talk to one of them about delivering a message to Old Man Riverhopper - that's just weird enough that it might get him a hearing.

As in try to talk to the slaves after dark when there are less guards around? I think we're sneaky enough between us that we might be able to make it work.

Are we trying that first because there might be less chance of consequences for us if we mess up?

Not necessarily sneak in at all. I thought Severin and Gabriele could just inform the guards that they want to talk to Riverhopper, now that Gretchen has confirmed that he or his kin are here. Severin will claim it's because he has a message to deliver - he said he'd deliver it, and Severin is a man of his word, like any good mercenary.

I think we could actually do that without Tick's involvement, and it probably shouldn't land us in any trouble at all, since we'd be asking permission. We might even get the go ahead from Sol or one of his senior henchmen first...
