Re: OOTS #490 - The Discussion Thread
Any chance of having that sequence where Roy comments on his dad's reaction being done on T-shirts?
Just saying I'd buy a copy!
Nice to see you back, with episodes like this you have nothing to apologise for, for some of us you're singlehandedly giving d&d a good name instead of the mess thats been transpiring over certain decisions a certain company has been making...
Sorry had to be said, even once a week is fine if it keeps you in good shape!

Dr. Manhattan+tiny Rorshach Avatar by drKarling, much appreciated.
The Deductive Adventures of Rex Kingdom, P.I. is an awful parody detective serial.

I got more laughs out of that than I expected halfway through. Ended on a real "up" note. :)

Re: OOTS #490 - The Discussion Thread
I heve SO been waiting for this!
It really didn't seem probable to me that Roy would be held from entering the Celestial Realms in the first place. After all, it was Violet's great-granddaughter who fulfilled her oath, and we didn't seem any of her descendants held back, which would imply that the restrictions imposed by the blood oath are not inheritable.Avatar by Sneak

Re: OOTS #490 - The Discussion Thread
Yes, but given Roy's experiences with it (he assumed that the Blood Oath would keep him out of the Celestial Realm based on what his father told him), it doesn't seem to exactly be common knowledge how the things work.
Plus, it's a fantasy trope that you want to fulfill the oath your father / mother/ grandfather/ uncle/ third cousin twice removed made but never fulfilled on their own.Last edited by kierthos; 2007-10-06 at 08:47 AM. Reason: fixing spacing

As for getting rezzed, the only thing stopping it is Roy not wanting to return (I think).Last edited by Aerysil; 2007-10-06 at 09:03 AM.

As brilliant as that is, I can't help but wonder whats happening to the rest of the order. Still, in your own time, Giant.
And I'm curious about the rest of the conversation that was ended in the first panel. For the last time, it stands for Shadow of Darkness!
