I regret about everything I wrote last week.
Snout should ditch her, and run away as fast as he can.

It's not because I lack sympathy.
While I don't know exactly what she is angry about (maybe the lack of clothing?), considering her origin I'm guessing she has a good reason.
Still, even a trained therapist will call security if he is attacked physically, and IF he decides to continue treating the same patient, some precautions will be taken.

Snout does not have the training nor the support to even consider handling random rage attacks from someone who can punch through a brick wall without warning.
Full sympathy and caring will come AFTER keeping a safe distance and keeping himself alive.

There is also the famous saying: "If something happens once it's unlikely to happen again, but if it happens twice it will surely happen a third time"

    Update

This is why I hate the journal.
It started as "I'm going to challenge myself", where a deaf person would force the writer/drawer to use more of "show don't tell"

There was a scene, it was perfectly understandable by the drawing (other than the "run for your life" it was EXACTLY my last post), but then the journal page just had to come and retell the same thing.

As a reader it can be repetitive, however as character behavior it makes total sense. This is how snout thinks and processes events. He records them in his journal and uses that to come to terms with things that have happened. Its a perfectly reasonable thing to do and it in fact does share new information, such as his reaction beyond flinching away to being hit. This journal is how we learn the specifics of his reactions and thoughts on things rather than just having to guess based off of body language.

But Snout is not a real person, he's a character created by an author.
His liking of the journal exists only because the author wants him to, and he wants him to because it serves as a crouch to bypass his own restriction.

Yes, I would like the comic to be based only on the drawing.
If not, at least one that relies less on the journal.
That's the point of restricting yourself, isn't it?

I think that there are three situations with the diary. The first situation, when it is used as a way to show something unexpected and so can contain some irony or add certain feelings (like with the "too scared to leave this place" game, not really the diary, but still Snout's writing).

The second situation is inspired by videogames, and it was the descent into the hut (you know, the PC arrives after the disaster and find pieces of paper or files gradually explaining what happened).

The third one is like now, when the diary is something of a hindrance. Snout could have been shown in a few panels in which he sits alone, pensive, worried, aching, and sad, as he comes to the thought balloon "I can't help her".

Even the thought balloon is not required since that was pretty much obvious.

I think the best use of the journal is to limit it to something like the "captain's log" in Star Trek.
Use it at a beginning of a story to write goals or where he is currently at, and then IF NEEDED, at the end to give additional information for the epilogue, something that wasn't obvious from the chapter itself.

Some exceptions like the game with the stones can be added, but the priority is always on showing without writing.

No im thinking its more, "I may not be able to help her, lets hope we find someone better soon." He doesnt want to just abandon her because he is aware of at least some of the horror she has been through and the idea of leaving a traumatized naked woman in the middle of nowhere doesnt appeal to him despite the risk. But yeah, the lack of clothes is getting stupid.

More likely "I may not be able to help her, but I'm sure the author will toss a solution to my general direction soon"

Still think the logical thing is to run away, but it's not something really important.
The logical thing would have been to go backwards toward Mongreltown where he knows there are people that might be able to help, but from a story perspective both going backwards or running away is a bad option, so as long as she doesn't hit him a third time, I guess that's the only proper choice.

I mean he already had a pretty good "Alright, alright, I'll follow your stupid railroad plot DM author.“ at some points*, so... head canon accepted.

Now I want mookie to troll us over this. We learn next comic its a parachute because they need to jump down a cliff face and they just leave it behind them when they land.

Or worse: since his overalls are wet, he's decided to abandon them and just make new clothes for himself. Of course, the overalls will be dry by the time he wakes up, but they're both just going to leave them behind.

Wow, that sign at the end was SO necessary, I just couldn't figure out anything without it...

Also, why is everyone naked in his dreams?
I'm imagining one of Snout's nightmares: Oh no, it's the finals today and I didn't prepare for the test! Also, I AM wearing pants and underwear, oh the horrors!

Not only is the sign completely unnecessary, but it also raises uncomfortable questions about the logic and internal consistency of these dreams. How and why does that sign even exist?

Clearly as a dreamscape mental control is important. Up till now snout hasnt been sufficiently annoyed to exert control but seeing these two fighting again is sufficiently annoying to make him manifest control over the realm for the first time ever. Thats just logic. Also, I now fully expect him to further show off his newfound control by creating a wall of ink between them to make them stop fighting. By the end of the comic we will have learned that the power of a powerful ink witch was powerfully inside his powerful spirit this entire time in a powerful moment of drama. And that all this time it has been these two leeching off of him to make these dream visits happen. He will be Snout Luna Deegan: Ink Witch For Hire.

I'm just wondering about the logistics involved here.

Until now it was a night sleep, so it's at least expected that all the involved characters will be asleep.

Now, both the witch and dongle the orc took a nap at the same time, trying to contact Snout, found each other and started arguing, only for Snout to take a nap himself exactly at the same time?

I cant remember, didnt ink witch say that this dreamscape was actually snouts work, she was just better able to manipulate it or something? If thats the case then it DOES make some sense that with experience he is getting better at dealing with it, and despite normally being a passive kind of dude, getting annoyed enough would push him to exert some control over it. Its a matter of willpower rather than complicated magical powers.
