[Request] Undead Monster

Okay, i have this plot line for my players that i want to follow through, and it involves several quests to finish. For one of my quests, I need a powerful undead, around CR 14/15, however without really powerful abilities, because there is a chance I will use him to help the players(i like them to make choices)

Now, i could just go through the monster manual to get an undead, raise it's stats, etc, but I want something original, and i focus on prestige class mostly for homebrews.

If the requirements were too fluffy, here they are

Powerful Boss Undead
CR 14/15
Not many instant kill/paralysis effects
Something unique

If memory serves, there is a monster in Libris Mortis called the angel of decay. I don't think it has many save or die effects, just a degradation of the PC's bodies.

CR 15, but if I recall correctly, its aura does damage and can't be turned off. So no allying with the PCs is possible.
