Re: Order of the Stick Trivia XXI: Find Me an Epic Thread!
Turning this double negative into finding someone who accepts responsibility, like Thog in the last panel, would be too easy I guess?

Re: Order of the Stick Trivia XXI: Find Me an Epic Thread!
Roy and Belkar, and presumably Durkon.
Find me three scenarios in which a circumstance bonus might or does take effect. Must be according to the characters in the strips.

Re: Order of the Stick Trivia XXI: Find Me an Epic Thread!
enq: One is easy because it's one of the big MitD strips: #476 1st panel, Belkar cooks stew to the MitD. The second is #524 16th panel, Haley disguises Belkar as Lord Shojo, Haley says that “I'm just glad having the real Mr. Scruffy gave you such a good circumstance bonus to your Disguise check to look like him.”
Rogan points out that the third one is #262, Haley picks the jail cell's lock, Vaarsuvius says that Haley received a circumstance bonus.
I wouldn't have easily found this last one on my own. I would have looked around in various strips, perhaps find #360 8th. Then after a while I would have searched the trivia threads for “circumstance” and slapped my head for not doing it earlier, because there are about twenty hits and more than half are asking for a circumstance bonus, and the answer given is generally love (2455961, 2802069, 3792825, 7334636, 9495070, 11097650, 11432852, 20517853), and some of the rests of the matches are still about #262 just asked backwards. Most of these questions were posted after #524 was published, and it's a valid answer for those questions, yet everyone only finds #262, and occasionally #476 or #360. It's almost like those poosters also just search the threads for previous instances of the same question, which is why they find the same answers. Well, today I learned about another frequently repeated question.
OQ.
PS. Ron Miel re thread title: I think we can wait a few more pages, but I'll just suggest the same titles as last time, with the number bumped.Last edited by b_jonas; 2021-07-09 at 07:36 PM.

There are four good answers I have in mind. The lines are spoken by Nale, Julio, Durkula and The Oracle.

Re: Order of the Stick Trivia XXI: Find Me an Epic Thread!
By context, I guess it’s that no one is going to be smooching.
Find be a comic that has 7 panels with no characters in them. For these purposes, a character is someone or something that is or was at some point alive. Corpses count; pictures and statues and such don’t (unless it’s actually a petrified character (the comic I have in mind does not have a petrified character)).
Spoiler: Some hints
I have a tendency to ask really specific questions based on weird things I see in comics. Rather than have it get hung up for two days if this is too hard to find, here are a couple of clues, intended to be read in order:
Spoiler: Clue 1This comic has exactly two named characters.
Spoiler: Clue 2Only one character has any lines.
Spoiler: Clue 3The other character vanishes in the third panel (poof!).
Spoiler: Clue 4The speaking character is Xykon.

Re: Order of the Stick Trivia XXI: Find Me an Epic Thread!
If someone is invisible, is he in the comic?
Don't like this answer, but worth a try.
This one is much better!

Re: Order of the Stick Trivia XXI: Find Me an Epic Thread!
That’s the one I had in mind. Invisible characters are still there, our stupid eyes just aren’t good enough to see them.
Clouds tasting like vanilla would be too obvious.
Show me an instance of Vaarsuvius casting the same spell twice in one panel. Alternatively, find Vaarsuvius shouting the name of a single spell twice in the same panel. (It’s not obvious if there’s actual casting going on.)

Re: Order of the Stick Trivia XXI: Find Me an Epic Thread!
Oh, actually only had to go back two strips for that. Panel 4.
Find me two occasions of an OotS member being compared to a real world celebrity. Or three, if you can.
For the purposes of this question, any real word individual who gets named is a celebrity.

Does Haley count?
If so, find an instance of scrying on someone who does not exist. There must be some sense of order - personal, political or dramatic - and if no one else is going to bring it to this world, I will.
