I had 90SQ to try with. Very first 11 roll got me 1 of each of the R and SR Event CEs, the Angry Indian Archer, and Astolfo Saber. Which was beyond my expectations, so I am super happy. But then I was like, I want some more event CEs. So another 2 rolls got put in, and it got me 4 more SR CEs, another Angry Indian Archer, and another Astolfo Saber. So I'm super hyped, this is beyond my hopes and dreams. Though it took me a lot more of my saved up embers to level Astolfo than I thought, and I had to spend about 2 hours grinding for Proofs after using all mine on Orion. But I got him to level 90, and now its time for some Santa Battle Royal.

Well I got super lucky recently. Two tickets saw me pick up Achilles, and 60 SQ got me Super Orion. So I'm a pretty happy camper. I've got nothing to go for Astolfo, but honestly, I only really want his Rider form anyways.

I threw out 30 SQ. Honestly, I didn't care much about Astolfo, I just wanted some event CEs.

    I got some event CEs.

    And Hot Wheels.

    So that was nice.

I rolled 60 SQs for CEs, got two of each, so that should be enough to farm relatively efficiently. Or at the very least, make it a not complete torture.

    "Hot wheels" is Asvatthaman, right?

I finally got the last Void Dust that was bottlenecking Skadi's NP charge skill, so I was able to raise that to 10 (still need a bajillion more to level the other 2 skills, but oh well). So now I've been able to have a sort of consistent farming team with Spishtar, Lan Ling, and double Skadi. It's not perfect and sometimes takes 4 (or on rare occasions 5) turns to clear, but it usually works.

I was even able to clear the challenge quest with this lineup, though I did need 1 command spell to keep my last character alive long enough to get over the finish line.

Thank you for clarifying. As it happens, I threw today's tickets and a handful of SQ (just enough to get to the 2x summon) and happened to pull him. So yay for my very own matchbox car archer!

I managed to clear about 55 boxes. Which is the most I have ever cleared. Not enough cubes to buy a mlb ce but hey. I'll keep em for now I guess.

Also have a 600 ember vault of wild cards and a decent supply in my mail box. Probably could get to 1k away from mlb for the current shop ce If i burned every ember.

I made it to 79 boxes, thanks to finally getting a double Skadi/Space Ishtar setup going. I've leveled up a bunch of random servants, and I'm sitting on enough embers to max the next new servant I pull, whoever it ends up being.

I've also got somewhere north of 1 million Friend Points, which... holy cow.

    happy new year!
so since i am practically a great old one at this point as far as when i started and have also once in a while done a little dolphining. i have a non-insignificant chance of getting repeats from any of the gssr banners. so i pulled on the assassin one since it had kama and i didn't get her and never saved for her and found out after her event that i really like her when i thought i would hate her....

long story short in a new years miracle i have a kama now....

GSSR got me my second Kama while I was going for MHX, an fine consolation prize.

My 90 SQ budget for Yang got me my 4th Marie. Alas.

I had 90SQ before the pile of gift SQ, which included the 15 paid i would need for the GSSR, so I was looking sadly to my wallet. But with the pile of gift SQ, it was at least worth using that up first.

GSSR I also went for the Assassin banner, as besides Semiramis and Kama I had none of them, and a NP Up Kama would be great. Instead I got a JoJo character, which is neat.

Meanwhile for Yang, I had about 130SQ to try before spending. In the first 2 sets of rolls I got a copy of Siegfried bringing mine to NP3, and Yang appeared. Which means shes my first SSR Foreigner which is great. Burned through a lot of my Embers to level her, but I'm excited. Levelled her skills to 6/8/7, which will have to do until I feel I have the mirrors to spare, and I finish levelling Orion's skills. On which front I'm very happy this month's daily resources includes Proofs.

Personally for the GSSR, I decided to go for the Lancer roulette, since of all of them I only had Ereshkigal, whom I wouldn't have minded getting to NP2 if I didn't get anyone new. But lo and behold, I got Scathach, which is excellent for me as I've been lacking a single target SSR lancer.
The other lancers would have served the same purpose, although Brynhild would have been less useful since her damage bonus is inconsistent.

Of course, this does mean I'm back into bone hell because of course she's going to need a crapton of those.

I rolled on the second Extra class banner since I was guaranteed to get a new servant that way. I was tempted by the Berserker banner, but didn't want to risk getting another Mysterious Heroine X Alter.

I got Kingprotea, who I tried for when she was first released but didn't get. Then I got Hokusai.

I threw a dozen or so tickets and about 60 quartz at the Yang Guifei banner, just because. I didn't get her, but I did get another copy of Achilles, bringing me to NP3 on him. All in all, a good start to 2022 for me.

Got Kingprotea, really any of them i would have been happy with except kiara. Would have preferred Hokusai but also scored Np4 Abby and NP2 Caster Cu. Rolled once for Yang, didn't get anything may throw some tickets later as i'd really like another Foreigner who i'snt MHX.
Well i threw down 10 tickets and got a 5star CE on the bonus roll which gives three Invincible and a damage bonus which will be nice for my Berserker of choice.

    Skipping GSSR, because I'm a filthy F2P.

Took a shot at Yang Guifei's banner... and nope. Honestly, I'm not that put out, I already have Abby and Hokusai. From what I read, Yang has incredible damage potential against Berserkers, because with all of her skills up she amplifies her NP damage significantly. But building that up actually takes turns, especially given that her most significant power boost comes from taunting enemies to hit her and become debuffed first.

Or, and hear me out, I could just bring Abby. So, thanks, I'm good.

Instead, I'mma hold out for the Ultimate Lifeform's banner.

I've had this happen too. The friend point banner seems fine, but all the others are messed up. Not sure about the Story summon banner since I haven't looked at it.

I threw a few quartz at the Gilgamesh banner this morning. Got nothing of note, not even event CE's.

I'm enjoying this event a lot. I've dug so many servants out of the archive who I'm using for the first time in ages, or in some cases first time ever.

I actually used Irisviel in a team today. Granted she was just there to fill space so I could meet the minimum number of servants and didn't actually contribute hardly anything to the battle, but the point is I actually used her.
