So I recently went back and checked some stuff, Kabuto was literally just generating snakes from his body that were still part of his body during the war arc.

So Mitsuki's snake clones being created rather than existing snakes, as I speculated in my white snake poer treatise, is looking more accurate.

Since the forests around the leaf village were created by Hashirama, the trees should all in theory have some of his chakra.

I'm seeing a potential rivalry between Senko and the members of your Leaf Team 9.

Obviously, there's the whole thing with Emi having wanted the sanke contract for her own research and in general them both being biologists...

But Kokite's lack of social awareness could be read to parallel Senko's to a degree and her desire to assimilate everyone into a single hive mind with no individuality is arguably a more sinister version of Senko's desire to recreate Ninshu...

And Shiko's arrogance, nitpicking, and workaholic nature... Senko literally just had a whole thing before the pre-exams about how hyper-focusing on getting the work done to the extent of neglecting self-care and just having fun was just making things worse.

I'm trying to figure out how exactly I want Senko's "White Snake" abilities to develop.

I'm leaning closer to Kabuto than to Orochimaru, but with a serpentlike tail in place of a belly snake... But unlike Kabuto, she isn't snakelike all the time, only when she's using the more advanced white snake abilities... Probably eventually merges her amphibious form into that.

Probably some sort of cell activation ability or upgrading her healing factor to improve and condition her body instead of just healing it.

Probably gonna use a variation of Kabuto's snake generation ability in place of actually summoning snakes for Dancing Shadow Snakes hands becuase it's not really clear how sapient those particular snakes are...

Like, some of the summoned snakes are people and some are just snakes.

I mean, it's not clear that you're the one making mistakes.

As a player the information on who the "villain" is is already out there so it's entirely possible that my metaknowledge is biasing me subconsciously.

And honestly, the "official story" isn't that bad. If it has been a case of "he had a hidden kunai on him that didn't turn up on the search" or "he grabbed a kunai from one of the Hokage's escorts" Senko wouldn't have had so much reason to be suspicious.

Dammit, thats what I should've gone with. first draft I had Hisaki escorting the Hokage because he'd insist but then I realized he wasn't at the police station yet so I had to adjust, but then I realize it didn't make sense, now this whole thing makes no sense at all aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh. why did do this? what now?

Unrelated, an observation I had recently is that well... A lot of wood release techniques seemingly grow directly from the body of the user.

...Kabuto's ability to generate snakes is probably related to his DNA technique, which is derived from the combination of Jugo and Sakkon's bloodlines...

But I ony just realized how similar that is in nature to the Ten-Tails clones.

So there's more canon evidence for my theory about combining bloodlines/traits to add up to Ten-Tails Physiology. Kabuto said that his chakra was highly similar to the sage of Six paths but that's probably becuase his body was as close as you could get to Kaguya without being an Otsutsuki or Ten-Tails Jinchuriki. (Er, I mean, Hashirama cells probably would have gotten him closer but he was planning to do that next.)

So, I don't want to spoil the new Boruto chapter, but given the contents of it and the theories I have regarding the relationship between Jugo's clan, the Senju, and the Shinju that we've used in this roleplay this chapter and presumably future ones are going to give me a lot to work with regarding Senko's future power development.

So... after the last two chapters of bort introduced sapient, humanoid God Trees... I can't help but think of how I'd made the "Juugo is basically a mini-ten tails" and how Kabuto's final form, which has both Juggo's bloodline and Sakkon's as well as Uzumaki physiology, is highly similar to the Ten-Tals forms we've seen and now...

I was gonna be low-key about Senko becoming more Ten-Tails like, physically speaking that is, we've talked about how genetic and chakra changes would affect her development going forward but...

Now I'm considering straight up having a "humanoid Ten-Tails form" as an intermediary stage in her evolution into an Otsutsuki.

I think I said that it'd be "Juggo's bloodline+Hashirama Cells+Sakon's Bloodline+Uzumaki vtality" that added up to Ten-Tails physiology... I was gonna have Senko develop a form more like Kabuto's after she finally starts actively training with the snakes, as a result of Menko's cells reacting with her greater White Snake Power...

And I was going to have her "Kabuto Form" have a prominent snake's tail...

Maybe, once she has everything she needs for "Ten-Tails Physoology" she'll actually become something akin to a *very weak* humanoid ten-tails, maybe leaning on the Claw Grime design a bit...

Then when she fully masters using her Sage Mode and Tailed-Beast forms, she'd metamorphose into a "mature" Humanoid divine Tree, something akin to what we have now(minus the Claw Marks) as a stage before becoming a proper Otsutsuki... I mean, Kaguya fused with her Ten-Tails so she's already effectively a God-Tree/Otsutsuki Hybrid...

So in that case rather than mastering and combining Six Path's sage mode with the White Kama, it's be mastering the White Kama and then achieving some kind of Catylist while Six Path's Sage Mode might, honestly, have to wait until after she's an Otsutsuki but both of those are enough of a long way's off that it's not super relevant regardless right now.

So far all the interactions have been interesting.

So... The most recent chapter has Boruto speculate that the reason the Clawgrimes were able to mutate and become Shinju is because Code infused them with his chakra and his white kama means that even if he's not an Otsutsuki he still has Ishiki's chakra as part of his own.

If this is true, then Senko in our RP should logically have Kaguya's chakra once she starts tapping into the Kama.

...Which means that, naratively speaking, she doesn't need some of the cell samples/chakras it was planning for her to obtain.

I'm currently rethinking some things because of it.

Edit: okay thinking about I was like, split about whether Miyabe should've reacted emotionally or rationally here. its like of the problem I have where I'm unsure of whats better anymore, what side of that spectrum I should err on. so if like, you got any thoughts on that, I'd appreciate that.
