For your convenience: The Snarl. And Mr. Scruffy playing with yarn, too.

Is Haley really skinnier than Lien?

EDIT: I got out the ruler in GIMP. Haley's waist is a pixel bigger but Lien's hips are a pixel bigger. So I guess Lien is right.

I love the depiction of the threads of reality, and how the panel borders break down!
The Giant says: Yes, I am aware TV Tropes exists as a website. ... No, I have never decided to do something in the comic because it was listed on TV Tropes. I don't use it as a checklist for ideas ... and I have never intentionally referenced it in any way.

The other borders are crooked, too. Maybe Rich is trying to retcon how he drew the early strips as a sign that reality was weak around Dorukan's gate?

Heh. It makes perfect sense that gourmet chef Belkar would consider an eternity without sense of taste to be totally inconceivable, even for someone of similar alignment to himself to ever subject themselves to.

I wonder if he'd switch to considering Xykon a mercy kill if he ever WERE to learn the truth.

I do believe that Elan and Belkar just alluded to "Start of Darkness" when Xykon first transformed into a lich.

Yeh definitely, it was a smooth way to catch people up on info they might have only known if they read SoD.

It's already been said but I also love the way the threads are affecting the comic borders. The threads are breaking the fourth wall

Love the SoD callback. Xykon and Redcloak really didn't think things through back then (or since)

The damaged panel frames are really cool, and it's interesting how Elan is fascinated by the Threads in perhaps a similar way to how Laurin was captivated by the Snarl before it struck back in 945.

I think Haley being skinnier or more lithe is just something we have to imagine, they're both rather fit-looking.

Unrelated to my quote, I think we just got a more important line from Belkar than it might first appear. He appreciates the idea of a life without stimulation, when his old self might well have been satisfied just rampantly killing.

Nope, that's not the fourth wall. As already made clear by the older comic: "At Least It Wasn't the Fourth Wall Again".

Yeah I assumed she was talking about agility and stuff, not about being skinny (which Haley is not). Oak is a hardwood, while willow wood is softer and more pliant

Also dhr probably has full plate, which has less agility and will be bigger.

I kinda love that Belkar and Elan both agree that living forever isn't worth loosing the ability to enjoy something like ice-cream.
    And so does Xykon.

And Roy proves that he's been paying attention to what kind of world they live in.
