big bad paralyzed my character, and used an action each round to re-up that condition. For five rounds of a pitched battle with him and his minions, I got to do nothing but save at the end of my turn, only to have the big bad rewind time and undo my save, then reimpose the paralyzed condition for another round.

My character succumbed to all the auto-crit attacks and AOE danage, and failed the one death save he got to make. Had to be revivified.

"Season finale" session. Guy was trying to start a civil war against a faction the PCs fell in with earlier in the campaign. He and his co-conspirator were firing a giant death laser thing into the city as a riot control measure, turned entire districts into craters. Anyway, we killed both of them, but it turned out the prince was a simulacrum, and the real one was spotted escaping at the end.
