Default Iron heroes + fire arms.

I am working on a horror campaign right now and I decided to use iron heroes all four books. (banning the arcanist) also for the setting the idea of firearms flashing now and then works. It should not have a huge impact on game, but I feel it should work well with the campaign path I am working on.

Anyhow, I have been thinking that, this being iron heroes, I should probably ad a fire-arms mastery feat. are there any suggestions on what this feat should provide?
I think that using fire arm as melee weapons would work. 1d6 for pistols and 1d8 (or 1d10?) for rifles. One should allow somebody to reload a firearm quickly. One should allow you to fire a weapon without provoking an attack of opportunity. Any other suggestions?

Player's Guide to Arcanis, IMO, covers a lot of gun rules...Rifles,and pistols can be used as a club as a move action to change the grib. Combat Firing is a feat that allows firing in combat, also there is quick reload for pistols/rifles.
