Wizard: Well Rounded or Divergent paths?
So I've been playing a wizard, diviner specialist, who has taken two levels of Spellwarp Sniper (a little ninja in his life previously), but now Fatespinner is looking like a good fit RP-wise. I'm wondering if combining these would be a bad idea as they focus on different things, Ray Sneak Attacks vs. Save or Die/Suck/Lose, or would be ok together as they cover different areas. He's been a spy/assassin type character up until now, but has had an experience with his deity (a god of life/death) which has made him more sensitive to the whole fate/"order of things" type thing. So, what do you guys think? Yes, multiclass freely? Yes, but complete one or the other PrC? Or, No, stick to what you do.

Well if he's a Diviner type, and a Spellwarp Sniper, you might consider Unseen Seer from Complete Mage. Advances Sudden Strike, good skill points for ninjaing, and good divinations.
I've personally never seen Fate Spinners as people who put much stock in deities. More the do it yourself type.

Generally speaking, in D&D you're better off specializing on one thing, than being "reasonably good" at multiple. So I'd suggest sticking with sneak attack boosting classes, like Unseen Seer or possibly Magelord. Those fatespinner "spin points" aren't that big a deal.

On the other hand, you're playing a wizard. As long as you aren't sacrificing spellcasting progression, you can pretty much do whatever you want and still be competitive.
