Lucas twists his head out of the way and lashes back at Jester. On the Countrary, when you play with the big boys Death s everything.

Jester dodges the slashes, throwing endless waves of daggers at Lucas.

Lucas teleports behind Jester and lets off a wave of fire at him. Die!

The fire doesn't seem to be effective, as he turns around.

Wrong again. Lucas holds up the knives he is holding in the light. They don't grow brighter, but instead seem to grow darker. With these little cursed blades it doesn't matter how hard you fight. One tiny little knick and you are dead within a month.

Do you think I care about death? I don't have to kill you, I could just ruin your life. I could make you lose Jenny...
His lips curl into an evil grin.

The Hell you will. I've already killed one person tonight. It doesn't matter if I kill two. Lucas bares his teeth and swipes at Jester with his knives.

The room seems to physically move, as Jester isn't hit by the knife.
How do you think she would like to here that her husband committed a Homicide?

Personally, I don't care. I've killed before, and I'll kill again. Fact of life. Now stand still so I can slit your troat. Lucas hurls one of the Knives at Jester.

Swearing, Lucas grabs his knives and stalks back to His and Jenny's shared rooms and falls asleep.

I undeadtime, dress in khaki pants and a plain, dark blue t-shirt, and walk to the kitchen. But, I see the corpse of Tobias first. I stop, and look around, to see if there are any ninjas attacking or anything, and then do the only thing I can think of. That's to take pictures of the crime scene, and move the corpse to a frozen corpse holdy thingy in the infirmary. I then analyze the scene. Before I came to HALO, I was a detective, after all.

Steel is in the training room, testing out his invulnerability, by attacking himself with a variety of weapons or hazards. So far, nothing can hurt him.

I clean up the mess left behind by Lucas, though I don't know it was him who did this. I then look around for other people who may know what the hell went on.

Entering the training room, I say to Steel: Hey. You know, what's gonna happen when you find something that will kill you? You'll be in some trouble then. Anyway, I found Tobias just outside the kitchen. Dead. Do you know how or why by chance?

I've already found something that'll kill me. And who's Tobias? says Steel, starting to put away the weapons he'd been using.

He's the one that can shapeshift into different animals and weird firey things. Druidic magic, I believe. And how do you know there's not more that can harm you?

[Kaelaroth]

I don't. But, I'm pretty sure conventional weapons can't, and most of these unconventional ones can't either. However... there are things that can. We've seen... something. Anyways, druid guy's dead? How? Steel locks up the weapons. By the by, why do you think my powers are like those of the man in the strange outfit in the story-picture?

Well, it looks like his throat was slit. He's got defensive wounds, so he went down fighting. And I don't think you're like superman, if that's what you're referring to. You must have me mixed up with someone else. Which is another reason why I think you ought to be more careful.

I know what you mean. Mr. Montoya's sure I'm the next Son of Somewhere, and it's getting a little worrying - I mean, I know I'm tough, and those green rocks really really really hurt, but.... So... someone could be in the base still? Waiting to kill us off? Steel looks intrigued.

Could be, I suppose. I didn't hear or see anything though. Still, be careful.

Steel nods, and leaves the room, heading quietly for his bedroom.

((Well, okay, but I have exams coming up. I don't think they'll really limit my post time though. Not that difficult to post while studying.))

I walk to the kitchen, make sure I cleaned the murder scene up properly, then fix some breakfast.
