    Default Need help with area-naming

Basically, I've got an area that is a desert, and decided to give it a Hebrew name. I've translated the word 'desert', looked up how to pronounce it, and discovered that Aramaic doesn't have any vowels. Admittedly, I should've thought of that before deciding on Hebrew, but I'd like some help on suggested pronunciation.

The pronunciation (minus vowels) is pretty much:
    L n t v s

If there is anyone who can read the language, this is a link to the translation (it's the furthest right one in the first line):

Why not use the word on the second line? When read it sounds something like "Midavor".

Lhuntvus? Launtivus? That one sounds more Latin... Lontvis? Lontovus?

Ok, that sounds much cooler than what I was thinking... perhaps a hyphenated Lontovus-Midavor?

    Thanks guys, you're awesome.

i speak hebrew (from israel) though not aramic (oh, and by the way. neither lagnauge has vowel letters we have vowel grammer markings (little marks above and below letters which have basically the same function).

anyway, if you realy need the hebrew word, it's "Midbar" close. need any more names?
