(The thread title is the opening line to a Crowded house song called "Everything is Good for You": http://artists.letssingit.com/crowde...or-you-ffjdhx5 . I thought the song fitted well with what's happening with Masato.)

Tempest enters the kitchen with a note explaining the situation with Masato while asking for people to help him with the rescue. The note also mentions the slaves being brainwashed with a request to try not to hurt them unless it's necessary. (Not undeadtiming.)

I'm not sure, but the person who's holding him appears to be brainwashing him. Based on what I know about Moro and her mate, they are probably turning Masato into a slave by torturing him while using subliminal messages, so it's esseential that he rescue him as soon as possible. (Tempest doesn't know why or how Moro kidnapped Masato yet.)

How high-key is this going to be? I mean, are we sneaking in or will it be a frontal assult?

Based on my scrying results of the base, using Seeming to make us appear to be wolves while using stealth unless we're discovered would be the best approach. As you saw from the note, the slaves are all brainwashed, so I want to try to rescue as many of them as possible as well. Tempest remembers something else. Moro appears to be a wolf, as does her mate, so we'd fit in better if we looked like wolves as well.

Axel. She eyes him up and down disgustedly. You're back. She scoffs and goes to make herself some breakfast.

She scoffs disgustedly again and turns to him. Geez, can't we have any vixens around here? She crosses her arms. Okay, what do you want?

I don't want anything. I'm here to assist Tempest with something. What do you mean about vixens anyway? To Tempest I think something's wrong. She was nice and polite when I first met her. I know what you mean. Let's scan her. Tempest and Axel both use Detect Magic on Laily.

Oh yeah, just coming to help the other male foxes. Why can't we have more females around here? Seeing Tempest and Axel begins to scan her, she gasps, taken aback, and dematerializes. Why don't you try scanning all the air in the world?

I don't think we can be blamed for a lack of female HALO members. If it's a problem, you could talk to Masato once we've rescued him. How would using Detect Magic on the air help us figure out what's wrong with you? (I'll need to deadtime for a few hours in about 10 minutes.)

Sarcasm obviously seems beyond the capacities of the male mind. She tuts and re-forms next to her mirror. She picks it up and fixes her hair.

The old man wakes up and stands up rubs his stomach and goes the kitchen to grab a pop-tart. Microwaves the pastry and nibbles on the corner of it before setting it down and going back to his soft chair. He shuts his eyes and leans back.
